I was seated immediately at about 7 pm and despite limited German (können Sie ein bisschen langsam sprechen bitte - please speak a bit slower) managed to order myself a big beer and a huge plate of carbonara. It was VERY good, although a little on the salty side for British tastes. The whole meal, friendly staff, great atmosphere with plenty of German visitors, only cost 11 Euros with a generous tip. There's a café/diner in one corner of the shop where you can try some of their specialities. I haven't yet, but it looks tempting. Finally, they are present with smaller shops at two other locations in Berlin.
