We enjoyed the olives to start and then shared the house salad. I chose the beef with mushroom pasta, which is on their list of House favorites. It was incredible. We shared a very delicious tiramisu. The restaurant is quaint and friendly. Service was outstanding.

I know, I know. I sure ate a lot of Italian while in Germany. But let's face it, German food is…read moreawful. It's either all pork knuckles, currywurst, and sausages. We met up with a friend who has lived in Berlin for 12 years and she informed us that the hot cuisines right now were Italian, Indian, Vietnamese, and Japanese (but that the well known secret was all the Japanese places are run by Vietnamese so the food is not authentic). She also had friends from Italy who gave her a list of recommendations of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin and this was on their list. And man oh man were they not kidding. The food was amazing. First, it's a very, very tiny but quaint restaurant in what would've been once East Berlin. The staff and chefs are all from Italy and are extremely friendly. Like most places in Berlin, they refuse to give you free tap water, so you have to buy flat or sparkling mineral water. If you speak German sometimes you can get tap water, which is just perfectly fine, but they will tell you at most places it is awful and they won't give it to you. They did this here, too. Anyway, wasn't gonna fight about it. Back to the food. We had three entrees. We had a carbonara, and even if the picture looks slightly odd to you maybe, it was amazing and one of the best we've ever had in the world. My kid was in heaven. And they firmly state they don't make it with cream, as it's supposed to be made. Really killer! Also had the fettuccine con gamberi, which was also amazing. Was very happy with this authentic food, as well. Both these pasta dishes had truly decent sized portions and were reasonably priced. I got the lasagna, which was absolutely delicious. To die for. Only problem was my slice was like a baby portion. I could've eaten two of these and would've gotten something twice the size at any other restaurant I ever went to, so that was the only disappointment. Still, all the food was so good, I almost went back again the next night to eat and try something else. I would've had the whole menu if I was there a month. This is a MUST TRY for anyone in Berlin either living or visiting. Go!!!

It was great to be able to just walk in and be seated right away. Our waiter, Rosen, was extremely nice. My dad had some type of pizza -- I think it is known for the pizza but they have a full menu. I did not try it, but I can tell u it is thin crust & square shape, which I really like. My dad loved it. I got the vegetable lasagna with bechamel sauce. Very yummy and huge portion! I had half right there, the rest to-go and that was breakfast for two more days. I woke up craving it! The service was also very fast, but not because it tasted or looked pre-made. It's not fancy but certainly not like a food court. It would be perfectly fine for a casual weeknight date. I've been to a million Italian restaurants that are way fancier and absolutely more pricey, and this place is better than many of them. It seems to have various locations around Berlin, so check it out if u r visiting, touring, here for work. It's a versatile kind a place, plus u can pick up almost anything else u need in the Alexa Mall!

You pick what pizza you want and the pieces are huge, we normally got two for each and some Fritz cola. This is hands down the best quick bite I've had here in Berlin with a warm, comforting, and inviting surrounding. Every time we have walked in it has been slow only to fill up entirely in a matter of minutes. You can't go wrong with anything they have laid out. I would recommend coming here more than once to truly appreciate their selection of pizza.
