The fritti was light and delicious, the carpaccio was fine (though not nearly as good as in Rome), and the pastas were delightful. The homemade pasta with ragu, and the same homemade pasta with asparagus, were delicious. But it was my daughter's spinach ravioli with butter and sage that we couldn't stop eating. Whisper thin and filled with bright green spinach, it was as good as anything we tried in Italy. The man who took our order (he looked like the owner) forget to put in our veal, which was just as well because we couldn't eat another bite.

We tried the spritz, which was made with a special artisanal lemonade from Italy - more interesting than the usual mix with sparkling water. The waiter also gave us a great wine recommendation instead of letting us choose a random option on the menu. Much appreciated. My boyfriend had the special of the day - Pizza with eggplant and pancetta. I tried the Pizza Elliott with Parma ham and parmesan, which is always on the menu. We were both delighted with the quality. The size was perfect, too. For dessert, I can recommend the tiramisu.

Unexpected surprises…read more Desperate to find a restaurant after my first choice was completely packed till closing. Found Le Perron and called ahead last minute to find a table. The staff here is really excellent and their care for their patrons is apparent. As a vegetarian it can be hard trying to find proper food besides pizza. Our server was extremely helpful and helped adjust menu items to a vegetarian diet. Removing fish or chicken or adding some sauce, he really made sure we had a positive experience. The restaurant is quite cozy and feels like home. Though it does seem a bit older, this just adds to its charm. All in all, I found the food to be really delicious, especially the tagliatelle which he did with sauce and mushrooms minus the meat. The flavor of the food was beautifully balanced. I would definitely recommend this tiny little place to my friends and would guess that the non-veg food is equally as tasty.

We also had a cannoli for dessert and the filling was delicious. It's definitely a nicer restaurant and has an intimate feeling to it. The decor is well done and it was an overall lovely meal. The pasta was very memorable.

My boyfriends friend who has lived in Paris via Italy recommended we try Au Club des Siciliens for an authentic Italian dinner and he really nailed it out of the park. The restaurant is super tiny and in a quaint street in Saint Germain, but super cute with a nice vibe to it. We were immediately seated by the owner and offered an extensive wine list. We decided to order a bottle, the tuna tartare, burrata and an order of the truffle tortoloni. Every dish was more delicious Thant he next. The tuna was super fresh with a zesty sauce and the burrata was creamy, but the real MVP was the tortoloni I've never had something so decadent, creamy and perfect. The pasta was cooked al dente and we also decided to top it off with real, shaved truffles. My bf fell in love and decided to order a 2nd round of the pasta (bad idea) and demolish it. We fell into a food coma for the next day or so. We obvi ordered a creme brûlée to end the night despite our fullnesa haha. Definitely my favorite meal in Paris!

We asked for sparkling water and after a long wait were given still water. I tried to get our waiter's attention immediately but could not make eye contact. About 10 minutes later I asked another waitperson to change the water. Our appetizer, bruschetta with mozzarella, truffles and honey was acceptable. The main courses, which took a long time to order, and much longer to appear, were spaghetti with clams and calamari, and a tubular pasta with tuna and a seasoned tomato sauce. The spaghetti with clams and calamari was tasteless and the calamari was the consistency of rubber bands. The tuna pasta was passable but the sauce was nice. The "fresh" tuna was not. We tried to order wine at the beginning but after our waiter delivered our still water, there was not an opportunity to do so. Once our food arrived we had lost our interest in a glass of wine and wanted this dining experience to end. Our bill included both bottles of water which I had to dispute. I would not recommend this restaurant.

It's really all about the food here. They serve yummy Italian cuisine - fresh pastas, fish, meat and bread.
