You'll come across this elegant and welcoming restaurant after a climb up one of Sansepolcro's steep streets. They serve typically Tuscan food and wine in an authentically dignified setting packed with a contented local clientele.
At first sight it looks as if it might be dauntingly expensive but that needn't be the case... I opted for the special vegetarian antipasti platter - exquisite - with lots of tantalising tastes of local delicacies, including sheeps cheese, myriad roasted and grilled vegetables, salads and beans. Don't miss-out on the divine bread basket with its mouthwatering home-baked savoury selection from more-ish breadsticks to fragrant herb rolls.
