They make the pizza fresh all day, and one slice makes a really nice lunch. They have all different types and we were partial to the sausage and the ones with arugula on top. We grabbed our slices and headed to the nearby square in front of the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena to sit and enjoy them in the shade. A great place to spend a few hours. Strolling around we got quite a bit hungry. Then we came across this place. And I remembered reading good reviews about it, so we went for it. It's a mix between a small restaurant (just a handful of tables in the back) and a butchery / deli shop. There's plenty of fresh cut meats to choose from (Salami, Ham, Sausages) and it also has a good range of sweets and cookies and lots of other products. There's a good selection of cheese also. Either eat-in other take-away (bring home). We took a seat in the back and ordered a plate of cut meats with Crostinis for just 10 Euro. And a small bottle of Prosecco for 7 Euro. The meat was really good. Presentation nice. Way above you average Salami and Ham. Nice spices and flavours. Besides the sweets they also sell lots of other special italian products. Olive Oil, Limoncello and other liquors and lots of truffle products (truffle honey, truffle spread with parmesan etc.), also chutneys, jam and much more. All really good stuff! We bought quite a bunch of their products to bring home and they taste fantastic. Service / staff was really great and helpful and took a lot of time explaining their products. And - quite unusual for this kinda place - our dog was welcome too. They even brought a huge bowl of water for her. A great great place. Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere isn't touristy, and you're not rushed at all. We started with an assortment of cheeses and salami, then had pappardelle, pici, and ossobuco. Everything was outstanding. And the wine... a liter of Montalcino for €13. Hard to beat that. You can order by the quarter liter, half liter, or full liter, so it's easy to try different wines. It's also an enoteca, so you can sit, sip, and really enjoy the experience. Make a reservation or show up early and hope to grab a table -- this place fills up. I had to hunt down the exact address and find it by myself because Google Maps wasn't helping. It was so funny because I was pulling up photos on TripAdvisor. Just as I came across a photo of three guys, one of them actually pulled up in his motorcycle! He turned out to be the owner, and he was just opening up his business.
