I arrived a few minutes late to our appointment (I had trouble finding his suite) and he informed me that my session would be short because I was late and he had another appointment right after me. I told him that was understandable since I was late. BUT he would stop massaging me to respond to his text messages, which used up some of my time, and he even answered a call during the massage and put his friend on speakerphone! ON SPEAKERPHONE! Talking about some homeless man living on their couches, drinking their booze and stuff. It was probably a 10 minute conversation that I had the pleasure of listening to. Towards the end of my appointment, he found some knots in my back and shoulders, and was like, "do you feel that? Those are bad. But we are all out of time, so next time we will work on that." I was really disappointed. It was not the experience I was hoping for at all.

I care about my clients and their progress, so I will follow up with each client after a Reiki session. What is Reiki? Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment can be done in person or remotely (distance Reiki). A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
