When a few friends came to town, I wanted to gift them with a sampling of our local beer. So I called around to several local liquor stores, looking for ones that offered BYO six packs. Most said no, until I spoke with a woman at Central Spirits. She was friendly and helpful on the phone, and then even more so in person. She directed me to where I could build my own six pack of local beers from a designated fridge. She even let me break open a 4 pack of Surly that wasn't in the fridge, just to add a few to my pack. Each can was priced fairly and I ended up paying under $15 for a custom variety of 6 local beers. It's not a huge store and I didn't browse the thing, so I can't speak too much to their variety. There were a few local breweries that I didn't see represented there, though, and there were only 2 or 3 types of Surly brews. Regardless, I'll definitely be back and I hope I win the giveaway I entered!

Their are usually 2 cashiers at the front of the store, able to help you. Any questions? They are receptive and responsive, polite and thorough. Be prepared to know what you're aiming for.
