On April 2nd I went to Ikea in Rome, bought and paid shipping for a matress to be delivered to my home. The earlies they could deliver is was one month later, the morning of May 2. The materasso didn't come so the next day I had on online "chat" with Ikea. They told me that I would be called the following morning with a new delivery day and time. I heard nothing. Two days later I initiated another "chat" and was told that since it was Sunday that they couldn't contact the shipper but that they or the shipper would call me on Monday. No response came. Now, a week later I just had a third chat. I am now told that I have to wait another three weeks for delivery even though Ikea claims that it is in the warehouse and has been the entire time. It's frustrating to spend so much for such poor customer service. Their promises have not been kept, they have not contacted me as promised and seem to be in chaos. I have shopped at Ikea for over 20 years and this looks to be the end of that. read more
