If anyone's in the market for a new office space - or something shared - then you're probably not short of options in Manchester. The rise in co-working spaces has seen (usually ground floor) operations pop up across the city, including Churchgate House, Hello Work, and soon to be completed XYZ. However, iHub offers something a bit different.
I was lucky enough to go for the launch event and have a 'behind the scenes' tour from a friend who works within the building. Unlike some other office spaces, iHub is located on the 13th floor of City Tower so you get some really amazing views and plenty of natural light.
The final fit out is very high spec, with some comfortable meeting rooms dotted about, individual desk spaces lined up facing out of the windows, and a large shared bar / kitchen space. The plug sockets have USB ports already installed which I'm sure would help many out in a phone emergency!
The packages seemed more than affordable for individual / new businesses, with wifi etc. included, and I could imagine it being a relaxed but supportive working atmosphere. Worth taking a look at if you're exploring new office options. read more
