Frank Aoi aka "Dr. Frank" performed my intake as his assistant is working remotely due C-19, before proceeding with my initial examination. Over the next 15-20 minutes or so, he thoroughly asked questions while he prepared me for treatment. Not only is Dr. Frank well versed in the practice of Acupuncture, but he's also extremely tuned in to your body's makeup. His approach to finding the correlation of one's mental & physical balance is important to him. Once he's satisfied with the examination, he proceeds with the needling. The process was painless as I couldn't tell when the needles were inserted, not even on my head. Dr. Frank's objective to teach & treat patients simultaneously is his main goal in providing that healing touch both mentally & physically. He also speaks & lectures on the art of Acupuncture. I've embodied this key component of traditional Chinese medicine for decades, which has been wonders as an alternative form of medical attention. My baby had a brain injury from birth and we were given the worst prognosis and sent home on hospice. We found HBOT and God brought us here. A literal miracle has happened to my baby. After looking at her review, I decided it's clearly a negative person. My experience at Living Wellness Medical Center is so top-notch that I've never experienced this type of service in any other medical establishment. It's common, from experience, that medical offices charge for prescriptions that are not within a time range of an office visit. Was this close to an office visit? I have paid this fee a couple of times myself when I was trying to get a prescription renewed that was quite a ways away from my last visit. Trying to get free work out of a business or person is just not something that I have a great respect for. Having something you are recommended and not having it work is just part of working through any medical protocol. I guess I feel a bit protective of this establishment because I've never encountered one like it in the medical world. Dr. Turner helped me get back to normal from heart failure. Other times in my life, I have taken medication and done traditional talk therapy, and neurofeedback was another really nice tool to use! What I appreciated most about BrainSpa and Kristy's flexibility was that she came to me to my home to do the sessions. It was much more convenient than having to drive out to an office in the middle of the day. Since using NeurOptimal, I have not gotten more than three hours of broken sleep a night for the last seven nights (at the time of writing this) with no indication that my sleep will return to normal. The experience has been an absolute nightmare that is negatively effecting every area of my life. Neurofeedback is not without potentially serious, long lasting side effects. Beware!
