After feeling like I was…read moregrappling with making a decision on how to focus my career in mental health post-graduation, I booked a consultation with Jessica. Jessica was able to grasp where my interests, aptitude, and capacities were best utilized and quickly came up with several areas of focus and potential work environments. What was most helpful about the consultation was the tangible options that Jessica suggested and the pathways to get there. A month after my consultation with Jessica, I got a temporary case manager position at a supportive housing building before landing a full-time job working with patients who had PTSD and dual diagnosis conditions.I also was accepted into a post-masters internship working with law enforcement who dealt with mental health issues in the community, such as home wellness checks, or incidents resulting in 5150s (72 hour involuntary psychiatric hold in California) Another advantage of my consultation with Jessica was that she brainstormed long-term career strategies. All this on a consultation. Imagine what is possible by working with Jessica long-term for serious career changers.

My experience with Deb for an astrological reading was incredible!…read moreIt was way beyond my expectations. I've had several and the style totally stands out! It is based on Evolutionary Astrology, and she mentioned Steven Forrest as being her tutor. Often astrologers go in to lingo that only astrologers understand. I shared with her from the get go, it was too much for me to remember conjunct this, conjunct that, or the position of the planets. She absolutely heard me and said ok, I won't go too much in to the astro lingo, but if it's important I will share it, so you understand a little bit positioning of planets in relationship to what is important in your chart. Pheewww....she heard me! She spoke about me, who I was in this lifetime and better yet karmic lessons from previous lives, and what I should focus on in this life from a career and emotional point of view. It was incredibly helpful to have the mirror held up to your face, and it be said in layman's terms. She was so spot on. She shared in depth information about my career and I loved it. I was so helpful. The karmic lessons too, truly were spot on! She is far superior to all the previous astrologers I've sat down with. I purchased a birth chart reading, and a progressive chart one, and I can't wait to hear about the next part. Because she was so spot on with the first one, I know the progressive one will be incredibly. I will update this review after the next one. She does evolutionary astrology, life coaching and she exuberates confidence. She's a teacher by heart, an educator and she really knows her stuff. She's patient, and she stays on track. Your time with her will be so valuable.

Catherine Duggan of Finding True North Coaching truly has been a light in the darkness for me…read more When I have needed guidance, Catherine has been there for me. She doesn't tell me what to do, but instead listens and offers ideas. She helps me to think through possible outcomes and offers practical, achievable steps I can take to accomplish my goal, however simple or complex. Catherine has been an important accountability partner for me; she helps to keep me on track in a gentle, encouraging way through regular check-ins using whatever technology makes sense at the time - phone, video, text, email. I live in Florida, and while some coaches might use this as a reason to not accept me as a client or to have minimal contact, Catherine leverages technology in a way that helps me feel extremely connected and valued. She celebrates my successes and gives me an extra push when I need it. For some people, their work is merely a job and they switch off at the end of the day. However, Catherine's coaching is her calling. She genuinely cares about the health, happiness and progress of others. She thinks of how to help you, even when you aren't in the middle of a coaching session. This may manifest in extra questions to learn more about your goals or a situation you've discussed with her, or she may share an exercise to help you think through a topic. Catherine's toolbox of resources is forever growing. She not only has the mind of a teacher, she has the heart of a sweet friend, even if you've just met. In full transparency, I have known Catherine personally for over 20 years and I have witnessed this in every situation I've seen her interact. She has a strong, authentic drive to help others. For awhile I have dealt with anxiety, and although this is not an area where Catherine had been previously trained, she reached out to a social worker on my behalf and researched tools that I could use when I felt anxious. She walked through them with me and followed up later to see if they were helpful or if we needed to continue searching for more information. Having some go-to actions I could take before, during and after an anxiety attack have helped greatly and have actually lessened the frequency of their occurrence. (Please note that coaching sessions with Catherine should not be used as a replacement for sessions with a licensed mental health professional; however, our coaching sessions, combined with regularly meeting with a licensed counselor have both helped me to work through issues and find support exactly where I've needed it. Our mental health is important and should be treated as such!) If you feel that you want to achieve more in life, but you need help discovering what that is, you feel stuck, or you already know the goals you'd like to accomplish but want a champion who will help keep you fired up to reach your potential, I highly encourage you to contact Catherine Duggan at Finding True North Coaching for a consultation. How will you know if you don't try?
