That's confidence. That's bold. That's earned. This is hands-down the best electrical company in the area. Period. Wires? Handled. Panels? Perfection. Breakers? Broken in (the good way). I didn't just get service--I got craftsmanship, conversation, and maybe even a little spark of joy. Sure, some people only use Yelp to whine about how their dog didn't like the technician's haircut, but not me. I'm here to hype the real MVPs. These folks are family-owned, certified, and they actually care about what they're doing. So if your lights are flickering like a haunted house or your panel looks like spaghetti night went wrong--call Speck. They'll fix it, explain it, and make you wonder why you ever tried to DIY it with a YouTube video and a prayer. Hire them. Then thank yourself later.

I have used The Miller Service Company to service my residential HVAC equipment in the past. And,…read moreeven had Seth stop by for an urgent replacement of a capacitor, on a Sunday, in August! So, when it came time to replace the entire HVAC equipment, The Miller Service Company was an obvious choice! And, they came through with flying colors! Mr. Miller and Seth worked together to design an upgraded system. Seth crafted a competitive price, and worked with my schedule! The installation team, including Trevor, Shelby and a couple others, showed when they said they would. They were communicative in the process, thoughtful in the placement, and competent in the installation! They were conscientious in removing the equipment out of the house, and left the area clean! The Miller Service Company stated when they would be here, and showed up, on time, when they said they would! The Millers are my kind of people where a handshake and a look in the eye, means business! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I highly recommend contacting The Miller Service Company for your next project!

Very disappointed with this company. We recently purchased a home with an inground pool and hired…read morethem for a "pool school" and to close our slide for winter. The technicians were unprofessional, chewing tobacco and spitting around our pool equipment, and provided very little useful information about caring for the pool. Immediately after they closed the slide, it began leaking. I called to ask if this was normal, and they offered to send someone back out. Since the leak started right after their work, I assumed they were returning to address an issue related to the original service. Instead, I was charged another service fee plus the cost of a replacement valve. Had I been told there would be another service fee, I would have called a different company since I was already unhappy with the first visit. I understand paying for a necessary replacement part, but I was very disappointed to be charged another service call without being told beforehand. I would not recommend this company.

The meter pole from Mister Sparky that Todd installed is facing the wrong direction, and the…read moredirection I wanted was the very first thing I requested when Todd gave me a quote. Todd said he was angry at the inspector on day of installation and hung up on him and blocked his number because the inspector was such a jerk and had chosen to work his own electrical business that day instead of coming to inspect the pole. The electric company said the inspector had called in sick the night before. Todd said it's impossible to keep up with all the regulations for Meter Poles because Mr Sparky has such a wide service coverage area. I suppose that's why the next week the pole didn't pass inspection. The inspector said "only 1 ground rod drove must be able to show proof of 25 ohms or less or drive supplemental ground rod". 3-30-22. Daryl, their other electrician came out and explained to me the law had been 2 ground rods since 2017 and no matter how many rods driven you can't get below 25 ohms. He said the inspectors can be real jerks and that the inspectors can't even afford the expensive ohm meter Mister Sparky has to test the pole's ground wire and prove it. He said the inspectors work for Mister Sparky not vice versa because they pay for the permits. He never showed me the reading the meter gave him on his several tests. Well, even though Mister Sparky pays for the permits it is included in my total cost and I am the one who pays for the permits. Considering cost of parts and pole, the electrician's company makes a good profit and the electricians are paid well for an important needful service. I believe if I understand right that the inspector works for the state of Tennessee just as an inspector I know in a different field does. A big fat zero for Mister Sparky of Cookeville.
