This store is immaculate, probably the best grocery store I've ever seen. I've noticed the IGA owners in Quebec really take alot of pride in their businesses, and what a difference it makes to what passes as the norm in any other city I've been to here in Ontario. Which are to be honest, filthy for the most part. They have a deli that serves up great wraps (I had the ham & swiss w/ roasted red peppers) and yummy fries. Something I've noticed that's a little odd from what I'm used to is they sell fries at the deli by weight. I was a little puzzled when I asked for a petite order of fries and she kept shoveling them into the little pouch until I gave the thumbs up. Only $1.56 for what would be equal to a large at McDonald's. Much of the staff speaks English, and there's also a mall that it's attached to (Carrefour) for you to wander around in as well if that's your kind of thing. read more
