Contacted this business to detail my mini van. Set up a day 3 weeks out. Day it was supposed to be done he reached out to me stating he found another detail gig and wanted to push mine back an hour. Ok. No problem. Arrives at my house and says he has to pass because it's too dirty. He made me wait 3 weeks to tell me he's gonna pass. First thing he said was he and his partner were tired from the previous gig that was picked up. Not scheduled 3 weeks out. So odds are they just needed the rest of the day off. Completely unprofessional. Still tried argue the topic. Until finally I just asked him to leave. He already passed on it so no point in arguing anything. Edit: adding a couple pictures to show amount of time I waited just to be told he would pass. Also, there was no dishonesty. I told this guy I have kids that make a mess in the car. Ricardo was able to do an exterior detail and interior cleanup with less than a week's scheduling notice, which is pretty awesome for mobile detailing. He also called me today and asked if I minded if they came early (I did not). I requested a full exterior detail with wax, and an interior cleanup including dog hair. They were very friendly and did an awesome job. Ricardo came with one other guy and they spent almost 2 hours on my SUV. No joke, I hadn't washed my car since before COVID started (as I'm not driving much now that I work from home). I love my car, but had honestly forgotten how good my car could look cleaned up! When he was done, it was probably the best it's looked since it was new (it's my third time detailing it, I do a full detail about once a year normally - but it was definitely the best of the three details!) I legit had the urge to just go driving and enjoy how clean it was haha. Anyway, Ricardo did an awesome job, and I 100% plan to keep using Five Star for future washes and details!! I have never gotten my car detailed before, so I was very open with who did it / I just really wanted them to come to my house ( convenience). So I found this company, when the man came by for a consultation I'm almost sure he told me $130 for a full detail / seat shampooing. Which I thought was a good price considering I have a Honda coupe. The day of the detail he didn't tell me a set price before he started even though I did ask. When I then texted him (after he started), he then gave me a price of $170, when I told him he told me $130 initially he then proceeded to "drop the price" to $150. The worst part of this wash for me was when I had to grab some belongings out of my car, I guess I had a condom in the pouch behind my seat. He then grabbed everything, put the condom on top of the entire handful of stuff then said to me " at least you're being safe" . Honestly, I am disgusted. There's no way he would've said this to a man for one and for two it's not any of his business. I would also like to throw in that he told me that he did have a " partner" but I did not know there would be 3 men standing in front of my house. ( I guess they came later). The wash came out well. Other than the wax spots??? in the photos. But the overall experience was not worth the money. Will not be calling again. read more

I hired Ricardo to do a full detail on my truck on the phone he really sold me on how hard he works on the vehicle and I stressed the importance of doing the engine bay and specifically showed him the interior which he agreed was not to bad however there were just general dirty ness on the interior I said I need that cleaned and shampooed he agreed he was paid $225 for this job Said he was going to make it look amazing. Well let me say this I was very disappointed he spent 95% if his time on the outside which did turn out ok. The engine bay and the interior both he decided to whip out in the last 35 minutes and believe me it shows. So yes very disappointed in The thoroughness very lacking so many areas inside I had to wipe down surface dirt that was Not even touched. I have never had my van detailed, and it needed it badly. With 4 kids, my carpets needed shampooing and the seats were messy. Ricardo came out and fully shampooed my carpets and cleaned my seats. If I want to schedule an appointment I have to call and text him a few times until a get an appointment, sometimes it takes a few days before he responds to get an appt.
