Eventually we started saying to each other, wow, this publication is severely stuck in the past. Every single issue has some tribute, article, or photo montage of people and celebrities who were last relevant 50 years ago. It got old (BTW, they are still doing it even now.) Although they do offer a Desert Calendar each issue, we discovered the hard way that they don't always get the dates right. I won't go into details, but we booked a trip in order to enjoy some sort of festival during our trip based on their Calendar, only to find out when we arrived that it had happened the previous weekend! We were most disappointed--okay, I suppose we should have double-checked the dates--but when we wrote to express our disappointment and alert them to the mistake, we received no response. Nothing. Not a form letter, email, or anything. And that was when we decided we were done supporting a business that didn't value us enough to give us even the most cursory of responses. Oh, and we've saved a fair amount of money since then--it's not exactly cheap to subscribe.

I just love this magazine. The new layouts and images are wonderful. Photography is on point. Love…read moreall the articles about mid-century design. And the astrology column is my FAVORITE!

She has been working with me for the past 7 months and I am an active client of hers and I am here to tell anyone that is reading this message that SHE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND with trying to genuinely help. Her personality and heart felt passion as a lawyer are greatly appreciated by me. Chelsea has worked on Saturdays and Sundays while simultaneously being a superstar mother just to get me out of tough situations... Something I am truly greatful for and can't thank her enough. I promise anyone that is reading this, if you give her a chance and have an open mind and trust her intellect, you will have a strong probability in prevailing with your particular litigation.

The response to my review is a flat out lie. I am sending it, as well as the emails between Ken and…read moreI to to the California State Bar. Since I told his manager I did not want the consultation with a Los Angeles-based lawyer, which does matter, it was of no value to me. I did not want it, I did not want the call, and I never should have been called after I told them I didn't want the consultation. Instead of confirming cancellation, they call me early just to get the consultation in. There was no refund. There was no value. Ken, you best prove that you refunded anything, and specify any value at all that you provided, any at all. Tell me what value you can provide if I was never going to hire your lawyer. Tell me the date and the amount that you refunded me. I will follow up here with the answers.
