In the end, after several days of troubleshooting, Jake fixed it by microsoldering the motherboard. Because of this, it took a bit longer than expected, but I'm confident that 90% of other tech shops would have given me the phone back and told me that it's unfixable, and to just get a new phone. Very quick turnaround and excellent price. The home button on my iPhone 5 was depressed and…read moredisplaced. I could barely use it. I brought it in to be repaired. The technician had immediately told me it was the battery that overheated and caused the home button to move. Replaced the battery and reset the home button in the housing in less than 10 minutes for the same price they quoted the button repair. Very happy. Only downside is parking is hard to find close by and their English/French is hard to understand. But they understood me and got their point across very professionally. I will have all of my business's cell and tablet repairs done at R-Mobile from now on. It helps that they're only 5 minutes away from my office.
