Our first sit down was 3 hours enjoying Tapas, cold beer and conversation. The Pulpo (octopus) is served both warm or cold great tasting either way. First time for me to try that was delicious, sardines ham and cheese croquettes Serrano baguette sandwiches and Anchovies Tapas. Everything was fantastic. We ended up here four times in our three days to San Sebastián . Mama Kepa took a photo with us and gave us all a big hug on our last time. She made us welcome. Thank You!! If you don't eat here, you've missed a great food experience .

We ordered gamba a la gabardina, or shrimp fried in a thick crispy batter. It was amazing! The shrimp was tender and the batter was tasty and warm but not greasy. The pintxo comes with two shrimps to a plate for $1.90. We enjoyed two orders each, which we washed down with a glass of beer and cider. Paco Bueno exudes character. Here you'll see and hear the bartenders speaking with each other and the regulars in Euskera, the Basque language, and you can easily strike up a conversation in Spanish with friendly locals. This is one of the top pintxo bars we visited during our month-long stay in Donostia, and we look forward to returning to Paco's next time we visit this beautiful seaside city.
