I had very…read morehigh hopes when I took my wedding dress in to them for alterations in the middle of July (wedding was the middle of October). She spent about 5 minutes pinning it, which I was skeptical about how she was pinning it but figured since she did this as a profession she knew what she was doing hopefully. Also made me skeptical that she never asked for me to come back in for any extra fittings and told me she would call me a week or 2 before my wedding to pick up the dress. I stopped a couple months later in the middle of September just to check in and see how it was going and if they would need me to try it on again and Ruth was very rude and acted annoyed that I stopped in. She told me "why are you here, have I called you yet, no, that means obviously it's not ready and you don't need to be here yet". Stunned that this was her response to me just coming and kindly asking a simple question I walked away to avoid any further problems. Once I got the call that my dress was finished I let them know it would be about a week before I could stop and get it as I live a 2 hours away. I stopped and picked up my dress and never saw Ruth and was never offered the option to try it on before I left. Once I got it home and tried it on I was stunned at what a hack job had been done to my wedding dress. The hem was extremely short and uneven, the bustle was awful, uneven and messy and buttons about to come out, the straps were also uneven and messy and wouldn't even stay in place. I was absolutely devastated that my wedding dress that was obviously not cheap was such a mess and an absolute hack job. My mother in law and I called and spoke to Ruth and explained the problems (less than 1 week from my wedding) and asked for part of or all my money back considering I was most definitely not going to be taking it back to them to be ruined anymore let alone driving 4 hours round trip. She asked us to send her pictures so she could see the problems with the dress which we did and she assured us that she would be sending half of my money back to me that day in the mail. Now almost a month later and not receiving any money we called again, she informed us that apparently she talked to Scott and he told her not to send us anything since it was our fault the dress got messed up and that Ruth "made every attempt to make it right". The customer service is just down right awful, I have never had such a bad experience in my life. If anyone is thinking about taking their wedding dress here for alterations I highly recommend not to and find someone different unless you want your dress ruined.

For someone that has Supposably Doing seamstress work for forty years as what she told me, Did the worst job i've ever seen to a young lady's wedding dress. Was rude to her when she went in early in the summer to check on her dress. I wish I could say they value there customers. But they don't. My daughter in law live 2 hrs away from this lady so she just thought we should bring it back over to her the week she was to get married. After a person hacks on your wedding dress then offers to fix it, ya no thank you. I'm not talking just took a little off her dress she chopped the shit of her wedding dress. Then says she would give her some money back nope that was a lie. Also. When a person takes there cloths and Especially a wedding dress in the store to be altered you would think it would be done right she flat out didn't take her time nor care about what she was doing. But then to lie about giving them some money back. We shouldn't have had to pay for that dress at all. I will not Recommend taking anything there to have it altered. So not only am I writting this bad review cause the service and the Quality of work if you can call it that was horrible.. why can't ppl just do good work any more or just be honest anymore. The spa and nails area is nicely cut-off hair area, which helps provide an increased relaxation factor compared to other places in town. But, if you go for chat and gossip, you might not get all that. I had a mani/pedi with three other people. It was your standard setup - soak, scrub, trim, file, paint. I'd rate this part of my service a 2.5. I was unhappy the woman didn't cut my toenails, or asked how long I wanted them, nor was she efficient doing decorations beyond paint. I asked to keep my nails long and a certain shape and the tech didn't really listen. However, as salons go in North Platte, I'd say it's definitely in the top few based on setup and services available alone.
