A Large (10-12) is more like a Medium (6-8) pre wash. Absolutely need to size up if you're willing to run the risk of the shirt just falling apart on you. Went back to exchange for non-defective shirts but they would not offer any assistance because we didn't keep the receipt. Man worker first said he could try to look it up because we charged it, but the woman worker with the shoulder length dirty brown wavy hair kept telling him not to help me make it right. Standard gimmick store tourist trap. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you're asking questions about products pre-purchase. BUT, zero customer service skills post sale. Money grab store that doesn't take responsibility for their defective products. Unless, allegedly, you have your receipt. KEY POINTS 1.) Keep your receipt or TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR RECEIPT. 2.) They were not interested in something souvenir based, so an actual toy shop seemed like a good idea. The space is small and absolutely jam packed with toys. Legit toys everywhere from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. If you get anymore than 10 - 12 folks in the store at once, there is a lot of "excuse me" happening. The toys were in a wide variety for all ages. Some really cool stuff for sure. Prices were a bit high, but honestly I haven't been in a toy store in years, so maybe its going rate now. The staff that had helped me that day were very patient with me and helpful. Unfortunately, the product I wanted was too large for my check in luggage so they had offered to ship it for me, saying it would take about two weeks. Half a week later, I was told that the product is now out of stock and it may take until late summer or early fall until I will receive my product. This initially made no sense to me because the lady that helped me showed me the physical box in store, exact color and size. Their first reasoning was that there may have been a waitlist for that product before I purchased it. This also did not make sense as the person who was selling it to me would have literally given me that very same box if I had been able to take it home with me through my check in luggage. And they followed up by saying that they must have over sold the product. This was very upsetting to me, because this was the one souvenir I had bought myself during my time in Louisiana. Very upset, I asked for a refund, which was processed in a timely manner. All in all, I'm not sure how this could've handled better. Maybe it would be better for the store overall if they were keeping up to date with their stock of items before selling them. It's probably no fault of the staff that works there but more likely management. Very friendly staff but can't help but feel very disappointed at the outcome.
