The levels are only checked by blood tests and now that my 6 prescription has expired, which should have been a year, my levels are off and can't be checked until I have been on them for 2 months to get an accurate reading, there is no reason to be seen by them. The staff is very helpful and the physician listen to the concerns I have had both as a parent and a patient. The wait time is typically less than 15 minutes and is expedited in true emergencies. My 9-year-old daughter broke her arm badly last summer and only wanted to see Dr Bob. He went with her to X Ray and talked to her about his friend (the referral doctor) who we need to go see. The front desk was right on top of the paperwork that the insurance needed for the referral and has been helpful since with filing the claim. In a pinch or as a family practice, I highly recommend Physicians Immediate Care.

I have been a patient at this clinic for years for chronic pain from multiple…read morespinal fractures. I am 100% disabled, and my pain is managed with prescriptions this clinic writes. I filled my last prescriptions on July 6 -- a 30-day supply that ran out on August 5. The pharmacy had nothing new on file. When I called the clinic, I was told nothing would be sent until I was seen, and the earliest appointment offered was August 18 -- nearly two weeks after my refill date. No bridge prescription, no telehealth option, no earlier slot. Their suggestion was that I go to the ER or urgent care, which do not refill chronic pain prescriptions -- something a pain clinic knows better than anyone. To keep from running out completely, I have been rationing my doses below what my own doctor prescribed. I will still run out days before the appointment. A long-term, compliant patient with a documented spinal condition should never be put in that position by a scheduling gap. Both the FDA and CDC specifically warn providers against abruptly cutting off long-term pain patients. All it would have taken was a short bridge prescription or a ten-minute telehealth visit. If you are considering this clinic for long-term pain management, know that if their scheduling slips, you are the one who will pay for it.

They were quick with their diagnosis and accurate. Unfortunately we had to deal with Portneuf Medical because we would have rather dealt with this establishment. PMC robbed us and this establishment was fair and helpful. We ended up waiting over 5 hours to get into the ER and only waited 3-5 minutes to see the a doctor and nurse here. Hopefully your child doesn't get hurt but if they do this is a great place!!!
