Sam and Kayt at the ID Photoshop are true stars. They took my passport photo in August, and did a brilliant, fast job, producing an excellent, high quality shot. I liked it so much I asked them to a proper portrait last week and again they came up more than trumps. Sam took the shot. He has a lovely, gentle manner, but meanwhile knows exactly what he is doing with his professional Nikon camera, suggesting tiny changes in my posture and expression to get the best result. After 5 or so shots he would stop and show me what he'd done, and help me choose the best shot. When we had about 10 decent ones, he handed me and the shots over to Kayt, who helped me select the top image. She then spent a couple of days fine-tuning the image, each time sending me the result by email and asking me for my opinion. Throughout this entire process she was incredibly patient and friendly. It was a true pleasure working with them and I'm extremely pleased with the result. I can't recommend the ID Photoshop highly enough; as someone else said, it's not a flashy studio, but they get result you need or want, are professional and genuinely friendly, and charge extremely reasonable prices. read more

Went there after finding them on Yelp, as I needed a photo for my NZ passport and the requirements are really stringent. Got there at 9 am just as they were opening, there were already a few people waiting, the first lot a South African, I think, mother with two small children, the second a young Zimbabwean woman who was getting a photo of her son for his passport. Sam, the owner, seemed to know exactly what was required in each case and got all the photographs done very quickly and efficiently, ably assisted by Kayt (sic). Both were very pleasant. I didn't need a hard copy, just a jpg, and that only cost £7 and was emailed to me within the hour, which I thought was excellent value. i am in the process of getting my australian passport renewed but australia high commission declined my photo as there was "shadow under my eyes" (thanks snappy snaps!) so they sent me down to ID photoshop to get a new one. what felt like an absolute nightmare turned out to be such a pleasant experience! the photographer was such a lovely guy, he was patient in retaking photographs and happy to chat which was a great break from my stressful morning. i think everyone dreads having their passport photo taken (i know i do!) but i'm really chuffed with how the picture came out. it was a professional set up and perfectly lit, the only chance of it getting declined this time is cos i look too good for it to be me haha! i will be sure to recommend and return myself for other ID photographs :) read more

I travel a lot and need a lot of photos for visas. The ID photoshop always knows what strange size is needed or whether there are specifics of appearance e.g. a head scarf for my wife for Iran. The other day I needed and electronic photo for a US online application. When I had uploaded that I found I needed a colour print which was larger that usual to hand over to the consulate at the interview. No problem! One phone call to the ID Photoshop and they mailed the reuire picture to me at no extra charge, not even for the postage. That is great service. Mark read more

5 star excellent After spending time and money with a number of different photography companies I was unable to get any of these photos accepted for my online passport application until I went to ID PHOTOSHOP who took my picture and it was accepted same day! Staff are professional, friendly and competent. Only place that can do perfect passport & visa photos and are approved by the relevant governments. Excellent, it was really quick to have my photo taken for my UK passport . It's just been accepted by the passport office. it was well worth £8 to to avoid any hassle with the passport office not accepting the photo. My photo was emailed to a few hours later. Only one thing - I would take the 8am opening with a pinch of salt - I got there at 8am and not sign of the shop opening. But just a minor grouch - i'm really pleased with the service and would recommend. read more

The Staff are very helpful and they offer a money back guarantee on your photos... with a number of backgrounds for every country whats better than that!!! They also have a nice sweet shop in the same location so you can get your food and drinks while you wait I wish they had Passport Photo shops like this all over the country... Great photographer and convenient place for family pictures for ID OR Passport!! He took pictures of my little angel who did not behave. HE was Friendly and patience with Kids.Especially importance for the Uk id photos requirements. I think this is shop especialized with Id passport photos but all also he took a picture of the whole family as well. The price is a good deal for the location. read more

Bizarre location - great photographer!!! How often do you get a good id photo? This photogrpaher makes sure you are happy and that specific requirements are met! If you are in a hurry, make an appointment as getting a good photo of some takes time! It is attached to a little shop that serves fresh orange juice and hot drinks for very reasonable prices. read more

As a seasoned traveller, I am always having to get additional photos for visas etc. I happened across this place. Wow. Fast, friendly and reasonably priced too. The studio itself doesn't look too fancy, but don't get discouraged, they provide by far better service than some other much more expansive companies at posh locations in London. Outstanding service. Kayt is as nice, professional, quick and good as it gets. I went for a US visa photo. The requirements fill 3 sides of A4, but she sorted it all out in 5 minutes, that is taking, printing and emailing photos. And they are excellent. Totally recommended. read more
