I have been coming here since 2015. Today, after two years of growing my hair, I have decided to…read moregive myself a fresh new cut. My hair is near my waist length. I came in and as usual I pick Thao as my hair stylist. I told her I wanted a trim and she recommend of cutting my hair off upto 4 inches. Which in mind, will reach at least to my chest area. To my surprise, she cut my hair 2 inches below my shoulder. Basically, she have cut at least 6-8 inches of my hair. I have been patiently waiting for hair to grow. I was definitely furious and I almost burst into tears. Her cut was so choppy, I asked for layers but she kept insisting that I have thin hair and that would look bad on me. I have never been so disappointed. I wish she would listen to what I asked instead of doing what she really want for my hair. I would not come back again.

And also no longer do the aftershave splash on the neck and behind the ear. But the trade-off is that they did two things I never expected. First, they also took care of some growing hair in and around both ears. And second, they washed my head. I think it's a good trade-off. But it is pricey here. 5 Stars Vibe: Masculine quasi-old-school-and-modern vibe. 5 Stars Overall: 5 Stars

I was so excited to try this salon after reading all the positive reviews, but I left incredibly…read moredisappointed. I came in asking for a simple trim, about one inch off, and a very subtle face frame. I also made it clear multiple times that I did not want layers. Instead, I left with a head full of layers and what appears to be at least three inches cut off the back instead of the one inch I requested. During the haircut, I could tell it was heading in the direction I specifically asked to avoid, so I reiterated that I didn't want layers. Despite that, the haircut continued the same way. When I asked afterward why I had been given layers, I was initially told they weren't layers. Once I pointed them out bc they clearly were, I was told, "It looks better that way," and "It will grow out." I don't appreciate the attempt to gaslight me as if I can't see the cut and don't know how long my hair was. A stylist's personal preference should never override what a client explicitly requests. Hair takes months to grow back, and this isn't something that can simply be undone. Disappointed that the experience did not live up to the online reputation. This seems to be such a common issue. Why?!
