From the moment I…read morereached out, their response time was exceptional - the owner personally got back to me within MINUTES and had his team at my house the very next day. It probably would have even been faster if i had been at home and available the same afternoon, to be honest. What really stood out to me though, was how wonderfully, over the top accommodating they were with our hectic work and family schedule... right off the bat, the owner himself offered some flexible appointment times and even said the weekend could be an option if we needed that. Thankfully we didn't though. The entire team at Carlos and Brian's was incredibly professional and courteous, from the very first phone call to the guys that came over to my house. They took the time to listen to me, explained everything they were going to do with the random jobs around that we needed done, and their attention to detail for things like wiping down water from the plumbing and cleaning up after was awesome. When they were helping to move some heavy furniture, I was really worried about my hardwood floors, but they didnt scratch them at all.... actually the guys even asked if i wanted them to take their shoes off before walking inside ehen they first arrived. That was a very thoughtful and considerate gesture. Rhey were pretty fast, I asked them to do a few things (put on a new faucet, fix a weird annoying light, move a huge dresser, fix up my old mailbox) and I think they were in and out in about an hour.. I REALLY appreciated that I could Venmo them for payment. Getting cash would have been annoying. Oh, I also liked that they were licensed/insured and showed up looking professional - it was not like I just hired some random dudes to come into my house - you know, just good peace of mind for the few random repair jobs we needed done, just knowing there was qualified professionals working in our home and even if something went wrong they had us covered. They cleaned up thoroughly after completing the repairs, and the quality of work was outstanding. It's not easy around here to find a home repair company that has both repai expertise AND such excellent customer service. I'll definitely be calling them again for any future work that needs to be done. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional home repairs.

Edwin came highly recommended to me. He was very nice and his estimate was very fair. However, the…read morequality of the job done was extremely poor. Edwin was supposed to complete the job on a Wednesday. He asked if he could reschedule, which was fine with me, and we agreed on that Saturday. Saturday came and went with no communication, even though I texted him. On Sunday, he apologized and rescheduled me for the following Wednesday. I am flexible and I was okay with the changes. He showed up around 9:30am with another worker. The job included priming and painting two small areas on the kitchen ceiling, caulking and filling about 10 cracks in the stucco of the exterior of my home, and painting the front side of two exterior doors. The job took nine hours on Saturday and an additional 4 hours on Sunday. There were multiple issues with the job done by Edwin's workers (not him). The main issue is that they didn't properly prep the home for work. When they "finished," there was paint splatter all over my kitchen stove, my toaster oven, the floors, and caulk on my carpet. The tape they used also tore off the adhesive of the weather stripping on my front door. After completion, they had to re-sand and fill scrapes on the doors, which were supposed to be done in the first place. There were also paint drips thay needed to be sanded and repainted. There was caulk over my pavers that I was told wasn't caulk before it was finally cleaned properly. There was also a language barrier so I had to text Edwin the issues and he had to call the workers to explain. I was told to "be patient." While I can't speak for the quality of work Edwin himself does (because he didn't personally do the work), I was disappointed overall. When I expressed such, Edwin told me he wished me the best of luck in whatever company I use next and sent me the total bill (which is what was agreed upon). After I paid, he asked what he could have done better and asked me not to leave a negative review. My review isn't negative, it's honest.

We are totally impressed with Ken's popcorn removal. He totally covered everything with plastic so…read moreno messes. Then he had to scrape all ceilings in our home making sure not to gouge the underlying drywall. Then he made sure the older drywall material was secure by applying screws where needed and also supports and then prepped it, sprayed it with compound, then troweled it flat, next day applied oil based paint with sealer/stain blocker, then back rolled it to make sure all the paint was even. This man came in saying he was qualified to do sheetrock repair where a tree had fell on the roof…read moreand we had lots of damage there was also the roof to be repaired which he brought somebody else in on they never finished the job and took advantage of the 70-year-old man with the beginning of Alzheimer's to get all the money out of him before the job was finished needless to say they never finished the job they kept saying they were going to so we let them do some work on the bathroom which was very small and needed to totally remodeled he left us with a brand new tub that won't hold water sheet rock dust all over everything, screws that have not been mudded or sanded seams of the sheetrock are so offset that there's no way to fix it rather than tearing everything out and starting over he just does not know what he's doing I can float out sheetrock I can hang sheetrock mud sheetrock and hand and float it out and he kept telling me because I knew construction finished. I left the bad review he notified my husband today that the remaining balance of $900 is due and it's not paid within 6 months he will see the lean against the property yet he hasn't even finished the job. I would not hire this man again and I recommend that no one else has him because he is inexperienced he has two 21 and 23 year old boys that he leaves on the job by their self and they don't know what they're doing any better than he does and he does. Oh and I forgot to mention the toilet moved from side to side it wasn't fastened down. Everyday he would tell us he would be through the next day and I would tell him there's no way you have too much to do and I would show him the repairs that he did not do right and tell him to do the rest of them right or it was not going to fly with me he ignored me so when he said the job was finished and I said no they're screws up there that haven't even been mudded you still haven't caulked the windows I pointed out to you and you said you would fix . Before he went to Lowe's I showed him that I had the bathroom faucet and a touch toe stopper for the brand new tub he said okay when he came back he had a whole faucet pack he didn't put in the strainer he didn't put in the stopper although we asked him repeatedly to he doesn't listen to his clients his customers he doesn't really care what they say and he gives you a Pity poor story about being from Haitian they're starving over there and he has nothing be careful he'll bring other people in and make money off of their money
