I contacted them for a cleaning in Oromocto. They mentioned how they couldn't fit a regular cleaning in but a one time clean should not be a problem. They went through the entire walkthrough process, which I had to take time away from work for. They got me to review the agreement, to which I accepted. Only to find out the next day that their cleaners refused to go to Oromocto. This is a result of poor management. I should have been told Oromocto was not possible before a walkthrough even happened. Management tried to backtrack on what they said about a one time clean not being a problem and tried to phrase it as if they said it was ify if they could fit it in at all. Extremely dissatisfied with I-clean in Moncton both with the service and administrative personnel. Upon calling, I requested several items that I was told could be included with no problem. These were important as I have a disability and are the main items I struggle with. Upon commencement of services, I was told these items are actually not included and I would need to have a more expensive "deep clean" booked if I wanted them. A bit of a bait and switch, but I persisted anyway as, with a tight schedule, I required the service. I continued with services in the regular form and have used them for several months now, and immediately upon the very first visit, noticed that the cleaner was stealing time. The person showed up, checked in with the company on a device, and proceeded to remain in the vehicle for approximatly 15 minutes. Upon receiving my invoice, I realized I was also charged with this time. When I disputed the charge (politely) with the company, they refused to correct it. I asked that they at least make sure it doesn't continue to happen. On further visits this continued to happen. Most of the time I didn't report it because it was small and I appreciated having services at all. During the visits in which I was present, I was charged extra time each time and in addition, on a few occasions while I was busy working from home, I stepped out of my office and found the cleaner taking extended breaks and texting - for up to 15-20 minutes at a time. I also often had to go behind a few times and re-clean items that weren't cleaned well. When I was present for the duration of another clean during which the cleaner spent an extended period of time texting, I made sure to note specifically the time of entry and time of exit. I (politely) mentioned them and made sure we were both looking at the same clock so that there would be no confusion. To my surprise I was charged additional time AGAIN. When I called the company with my concern and asked them to correct this one item, they refused and stated that the employees check in via gps and they will not correct the time, AND told me that I was being removed from the cleaning rotation. Unfortunately, it's very easy for employees to remain in their vehicle in front of your house and claim they are working. It's very clear that this company supports their employees no matter what, to the point of assisting them in theft of time from their customers. Their responses to a simple and polite concern have been unprofessional, and the service extremely so. Don't recommend unless you like throwing your hard-earned money away. read more

We are extremely dissatisfied with iClean (we used them in Saint John) and will not be using them or their services in the future (and will be advising our friends to not use this service) We ordered a "first-time" clean which usually takes a bit longer to do all the routine cleaning and make sure some of the longer-term items are up to snuff - after 3 hours of cleaning we walked around our house and could visibly see that the floors (that were meant to be swept AND mopped) were still dirty - in addition no cleaning on any of the furniture, cupboards, appliances etc. had been done and everything that looked like it had been wiped down looked like a dirty cloth had been used, so I had to follow up the clean by wiping everything down with a soapy (clean) cloth to get rid of the streaks. As if hiring and paying a cleaning service that didn't clean wasn't bad enough(and our cleaner was very pleasant and we were willing to chalk taht up to a training issue) we were then relentlessly pursued for payment by the owner Suzanne. When we communicated the fact that we were dissatisfied but still intended to pay we were told we needed to pay in 24 hours and any issues after 24 hours she did not want to hear and she just wanted payment processes. Needless to say iClean was not a good fit for us. If you want to deal with a professional, or if you want your house cleaned by the people you pay to clean your house, I would strongly advise against using iClean - by far the worst experience with any small company I have ever experienced in my life. read more

3 people were "cleaning" the house we were just moving into. They stayed about 4 hours while my fiance, 2 helpers and I were unpacking the u-haul in the garage (we didnt want to move our things in the house yet so they could clean properly). When we started to bring things inside after they left, we realized the place was NOT cleaned properly and they even tried to "fix" or "clean" what were small little chips in our kitchen cupboards with a magic eraser, which left them with dull/white marks that took the stain and shine of our cupboards away. Their reponse to that after sending pictures of the damage to the owner was: "Your cupboards look like they are 30 to 40 years old". Wow. The house is 7 years and the cupboards were installed new 7 years ago. That's one thing, much more happened afterwards but lets just leave it at this. It has been handled poorly. It could have been handled in a better way but the owner decided otherwise. So we are giving them the rating they deserve and will NEVER recommend anyone to deal with them. read more

We were customers of iClean's for about two years. Their rates were great. The first two cleaners we had did not meet expectations but the company handled it well. For a year we had the best cleaner and were very happy with the service. Unfortunately she left the company. The replacement cleaner did an OK job in comparison. There was an incident where she did our laundry (never something we had requested) and she shrunk our clothing. The company compensated us fairly. Today, we came home and noticed significant scratches on our stainless steel fridge. The company denies liability. They provided a $30 credit our our bill and then terminated service. We were disappointed with the lack of accountability. I suppose from a business perspective it was easier for them to terminate our contract instead of doing the right thing. We enjoyed supporting a local business but will instead hire Molly Maid. read more
