We ordered the steak rice bowl, noodles, and a deep-fried sushi roll filled with cream cheese--everything was absolutely delicious. But the real star of the show? The steak rice bowl! Just ok, not great and certainly not worth going back. Out of town on business and looked to Yelp for recommendations. Was looking forward to a sushi roll and what I got has a flavor that I don't recognize and not edible for me. I'm not a picky eater either. Ginger sauce was more like a ranch dressing. Avocado salad was so so. Crab Rangoon had to much green onion flavor and no crab flavor. read more

Absolutely love this place!! I wish they advertised that they exist. I moved from Florida to Georgia a year and a half ago and JUST discovered this gem from a local I met recently. I have been deprived of a local sushi and Japanese joint for almost two years and have been driving to Tallahassee and Valdosta, when it this place was right in my backyard and I had no idea about it. This restaurant sits between an urgent care and Publix, both of which I've been to multiple times and still did not see it. It does not stand out AT ALL, which is a shame because the hibachi is PHENOMENAL and the sushi is excellent. Since discovering this buried treasure two weeks ago, we have eaten from here five times. We cannot get enough. Whether your order your food to-go or to dine-in, the experience is top-tier. I've never had an issue with an order and we always place large orders. The dining area is usually empty, except for one or two people, but while dining in, I watched a lot of people order their food to-go. They would have so much more business if people knew they were there and that the seating was ample and comfortable. We have ordered multiple sushi rolls, all have been great. The steak and chicken hibachi is always cooked to perfection. The fried gyoza are crispy outside and so flavorful inside. The edamame has always been steamed well. The spring rolls are not greasy and are crispy outside. The only complaint I have so far is that the sweet potatoes they use for the vegetable tempura needs to be cooked longer or blanched first. We have ordered the vegetable tempura four times and the sweet potatoes are almost all inedible each time, we could not bite through them. I may ask them to substitute more of another vegetable if this continues to be the case. Other than that, no complaints, but the sweet potatoes do make up majority of the tempura order, so correcting that issue would be much appreciated. My children LOVE the little plastic accessories that hold their chopsticks together. Thank you for offering these for those that don't know how to use chopsticks and want an authentic experience! Side note: I am allergic to shellfish and they always add a note so the sushi chef doesn't cross contaminate. read more

The eel roll I had was good however the sushi my daughter had was not. The fish was dry and curling on the edges and had a slimy look to it. Definitely not fresh. Miso soup was ok and the seaweed salad had cucumbers in it. The place was empty and now I know why. read more

Worse for ever. Not eating there anymore. I order an teriyaki chicken with rice and I was served to go an plain chicken no flavor with white rice. I do not recommend. The staff act like you don't even exits. read more

Order at the counter, pay, then you sit down. Skip the egg drop soup, it had no flavor at all, on the other hand the sushi was good. Not great but good. A little too much cream cheese and not enough shrimp for the Melody roll. No alcohol served. read more

Placed a to go order. Called my name. Realized they were short my shrimp noodle bowl. Waited another 10 mins for my bowl. Get home and it has white rice. Typical incompetent staff that Moultrie's majority of restaurants are renown for. This one is less then a week old. While I waited I seen a customer that was dining inside go to the counter because of their order. Way to blend right in Ichiban. Clearly I jumped to a conclusion shortly after Ichiban opened I'll admit. Since then I've eaten there 3 or 4 times and have been pleased with the quality and service. The chefs choice sashimi is my favorite. Also love the ginger sauce on almost anything. Keep it up Ichiban. read more

Very bad time management. Walked into a dead empty restaurant, ordered 2 sushi rolls and 2 egg rolls. Wait 5 minutes before even seeing the sushi chef. Once he comes out he starts making orders so I'm thinking it won't be much longer. Boy was I wrong, 10 minutes later having a chat with a friend and still no sushi, so I ask what's taking so long and I'm then informed that he had 2 or 3 other orders ahead of me. Now I'm thinking, if he had orders ahead of me, why didn't he start until AFTER I placed my order? I'm convinced I could've walked next door to Publix, bought the ingredients for sushi, and rolled it myself in the time it took him to even begin my order. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Dairy Queen and it has a fair pricing for Sushi. Not a place to take someone you care about but the sushi was good, not great but good enough for what is really a take out place. You have to accept it for what it is in a town with few choices.
