Fish is delicious as well, of course. Moreover, the desserts are a feast for eyes and palates and the chefs try to explain the whole procedure while throwing food around. Due to mixed tables you often get to talk to other intrigued guests. The atmosphere combines traditional Japanese elements with very modern ones. The matcha lattes are also really good, served warm they are perfect for a cold, rainy day, and in the summer, it's so refreshing to enjoy an iced one. They have different specials on different days, Tuesday (Dienstag) is ramen day, and Thursday (Donnerstag) is gyoza day, and of course, this is my favorite day! The prices are very reasonable, and the decor is very cute. Plus, they play a nice mixture of J-pop, which is just so happy sounding! It's simply impossible to feel down in the dumps while you are here, and I highly recommend trying it out!
