I'm from NYC where there are plenty of AYCE sushi places and I have to say, this definitely tops the list for me. They are mindboggingly efficient with their dishes --almost to the point where it makes you question your sanity. Like... wait, but didn't I just order that 68 seconds ago and now it's magically in front of me? A tad sketch, but I have to say everything I had was superbly fresh. Maybe they precut/prepare certain plates, but it really did not affect the overall quality of the dish. I'm a bit of a brat when it comes to eating raw fish- I will send things back if the color is off or if there's even a slight chance it seems like I'd get sick. Prices for beer and wine are also extremely reasonable. Portions are on the smaller side for the appetizers and sashimi/carpaccio, but it's AYCE so does it really even matter? Moot point. There are some items that have a red circle next to them which indicates you are only allowed to order that item one per person. But not to worry.... There's about 100 items on the menu so you won't run out of options. My favorites- - Tuna and salmon tataki - I believe it's a ponzu sauce on top with fresh scallions and ginger- super refreshing and tasty - Tuna + salmon tartare - also another refreshing item on the menu - Spicy tuna roll - I've had hundreds of spicy tuna rolls before but this one was unique-- I'm not sure what spice they use to make it spicy but it's far different than what's usually used and it was fantastic! - Dragon roll -eel and crab with avocado - Amaebi nigiri - sweet shrimp nigiri ...dope digity, really really tasty. - Salmon Gunkan and Tuna gunkan-- I've never had this before but it's basically a regular roll without using seaweed as the "outside". They use the actual fish itself. Other items ordered- - Nigiri-- 2 pieces per order-- we had all of the nigiri items: salmon, tuna, sweet shrimp, cooked shrimp, sea bass, octopus, eel. All were fantastic except for the octopus which was a bit chewy. - Salmon and Tuna carpaccio - super fresh but was not wowed by the sauce - Gyoza - Miso soup Their menu also includes hand rolls, regular rolls, other special rolls, salad, tons of other apps (including hot dishes), udon noodles, fried rice, tempura, teppanyaki--- I mean the options are endless. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other items!

They welcomed us in even though we were sopping wet and gave us a little glass of sparkling wine. We liked the decor, it was not busy and we were seated right away. We opted in for their ayce meal. We didn't go crazy like might at ayce sushi places at home. Coming from California, we have no lack of great sushi places and where our taste may be compared. This sushi is not like American sushi, and not like Japan sushi quite either. Alot of their sushi comes out very quickly, but the restaurant was fairly empty. The carpaccio and nigiri came out within a few minutes. The nigiri was thin fish on alot of rice compared to what we are used to, which was great for my husband who prefers less fish to rice and bad for me who prefers more fish and less rice. They do not give you wasabi or ginger, but we didn't ask. The rolls are small, four pieces each, so you can try more variety. They are pretty dense with rice as well. The 20 piece special chefs plate was interesting, and the special sushi was different from anything I've ever tried.. We also got the curry menshi (curry chicken fried rice) that didn't taste much like Japanese curry, but it was a big portion compared to the rest of the things we ordered. The corn egg chicken soup needed salt, which you can add at the table with soy sauce. The gyōza were OK, we didn't like the toast, it's a fried dish and the bread held the oil too well.

We love Italian food but we were in the mood for some variety especially hailing from San Francisco where we have so many options. Wai took such good care of us and the restaurant was not super busy. The decor was very zen and calming. We started with the mushroom dumplings and siu mai. Then we had a soothing wonton soup. We ended with the broccoli and mushroom and steamed tofu with mixed meat in a clay pot. At the end, brought us slices of oranges to complete our meal. We were impressed with the quality and taste of our dishes. Everything was delicious. Next time we are in Milan we will certainly return!

Tempura was priced on the higher end, the batter wasn't as crisp and light as I would have liked for a perfect presentation. However the sauce that it came with was amazing ! It had this umami taste and it was one of the best tempura sauces that I have ever tasted. We love Kama and order it at every Japanese restaurant that we go to. It had a good flavor, I wish it had more of char to it but the collar was a good size and came with a piece of fish.
