The store itself is of a good size, has a wide range of groceries, some are well known brands others are not english brands, and can take some working out, glad there are pictures on the products. The store has a fiar size fruit and veg section which is very good in price and certainly knocks spots off the competatiors. One negative I found was lack of staff on the shop floor as I came across a few items that were not priced and did not want to wait to the till point before asking. The staff at the till are friendly and helpful.

But that doesn't mean they aren't quality they just are probably from abroad It is nice for unusual sweets and treats and they have great variety packs of things like hollow Easter eggs etc. There is a good selection of wines and alcohol too at low prices great for stocking up for special occasions. According to the locals, this is a bigger store than the regular ones. If I get a chance to visit a regular store, I'll confirm, lol. This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

If you're around Liverpool, Tesco's of all versions are dotted around places: metro, local, express, superstore. If there are any more, you'll have to let me know! The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

The store is well aid out, easy to navigate and well sign posted. The store has a (Johnsons?) dry cleaning department, a Photo processing department, and a Starbucks coffee shop. Even of you dont want to go shopping you can still pop in and have a coffee and a snakc at Starbucks. The cafe has been relocated to the new upper floor but is woefully short of toilets, a whole two and they're both intended for the diasbled however a wheelchair user would need to run the gauntlet of the tray carrying cafe customers and the closely placed tables in order to use them. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. At peak times you'll be queuing to get in and queing to get out.

DIOLCH AM SIOPA HEFO ALDI. SPEND A LITTLE - LIVE A LOT (ALDI UK). Aldi encourages people to bring their own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags. Bought milk, mineral water, wheat beer, coffee (no, not instant ;-)), and more. It made a huge difference to my shopping in Machynlleth moneywise. I also got fresh fruit here! Since life in Wales is expensive one has to go here unfortunately really.

He did it with his back turned talking to another employee, so not 100% sure but I suppose that's what he intended. Must be to relieve the boredom of their mind-numbing job if only they realised what many customers must think of them. The store is too big, customer service feels too reluctant somehow. Not a patch on the customer service at Sainsburys. Pretty horrible really.

These do tend to sell out quite quickly on some occasions though (laptops for example) so it's worth picking up their weekly leaflets to see what's coming out and when to make sure you're first in line! They also tend to stock some lovely foods on the run up to Christmas, which is certainly the one time of year it's best to try and save money!
