It was a treat that the menu came in Portuguese, French and English It is a beautiful shop, and in addition to the food looking like a work of art - it tasted delicious! Everything was super fresh and uncomplicated/unprocessed. For breakfast we tried some spiked coffee and fresh juices. The adults ordered Eggs Benedict with parma ham or smoked salmon. The kids got a "make your own breakfast" of yogurt with granola and fresh fruit, and a croissant with a chocolate spread. We also got pastries to go for dessert later; a beetroot cream filled roll, fruit and custard pastry, lemon bar, cookie, and the lightest whipped cheesecake I've ever tasted. The only downside to the whole experience is that they are closed on Tuesdays (which really isn't a downside, people do deserve a day off)

Honestly, we initially chose this restaurant mainly because the bathrooms were wheelchair accessible (my mom has trouble walking). The waitress was so nice and helpful that we decided to eat there for lunch. It wasn't busy because we were there during the low season but even so there was plenty of (shaded and sheltered) seating available. Sitting in a bit of shade, in a light breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, we had a very enjoyable lunch consisting of shrimp in garlic and a pizza di Campo (thin crust, salami, onion, mushroom and pesto). It took about 20ish minutes for the food to come out but when you are sitting on a comfortable sunlit terrace, in an old Portuguese town, watching people stroll by on the cobblestone streets, with the dim sounds of the ocean waves breaking in the background, you tend not to be in a hurry. Our food was pretty good, better than I would have expected from a restaurant we kind of randomly chose. They offer a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches, pastas and pizzas. The desert menu also looked very enticing and they apparently make their own gelato. Unfortunately, we were too full to try it. Solid four stars, maybe even five stars, if the gelato lives up to its promise in the future. We would definitely consider coming back!

He brought the sangria in a small pitcher and put the final touches (mixing in some mint) at the table, then poured her glass. We've had sangria all over Spain and Portugal, and this may be the best I've ever tasted (yes, she let me taste). The service was friendly, the pace relaxed, and the energy great. This is well worth finding.

The terrace is an absolutely perfect setting to enjoy wine and dinner while the sun is setting. The food was beyond excellent. We started with a large plate of tapas/starters with glasses of house red wine. We then had delicious entrees. My wife had sea bass and I had black pork - both excellent. Finished with a traditional Algarvean rolled dessert with dried fruits and my wife had bread pudding. My two daughters also had wonderful kids' dinners and strawberry ice cream. The wait staff was very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this wonderful place.
