I had the Pecan Crusted Walleye (baked with Parmesan and Wine), and my wife had the special Crab Stuffed Walleye. Lots of side choices, but I had the cole slaw and she had the Garlic Mashed Potatos {they were really good}. Food was brought fresh and hot, and was delicious. Getting the check paid took a little time, but it got busy just at that moment...so we walked up to the counter. Prices are appropriate for the quality of the food we got, and we'll be back for sure. The service - our waitress was friendly and seemed happy to be there, but there was no promptness and she seemed to forget a lot. She did refill my water once (which made me pretty happy after the 2 mile hike I'd just finished), but we had to go get our silverware. Also, the time between getting seated and getting our food was quite a while - at least 45 minutes to an hour. Overall, if you have the time, eat here. If you don't, bring your own food, or there's a cafe at the headwaters (I know they have ice cream), maybe they have real food too?
