I am approaching eight years after having had laser eye surgery at TLC in Dublin, Ohio on January…read more18, 2018. I chose to have my left eye corrected to read clearly, and my right eye corrected to see far, while balancing the combined vision of both eyes. My prescription is still exactly as it was intended to be. When I was attending appointments to determine the approach and to prepare for the surgery, all of the staff were friendly and helpful; everybody filled their roles professionally. I am particularly grateful for the expertise of the staff and the precision of the technology. Thank you TLC team!

Let me tell you, waking up after a long nap and being able to see is LIFE CHANGING. I'm so glad I…read morefinally took the leap. I found TLC on Yelp and with its high rating, great reviews, and the fact that it is located not too far from home, I decided to make an appointment. Everyone here is really friendly. They very clearly outlined the process, the pros, cons, worse outcomes, best outcomes, etc. After reading several pages outlining all the horrible things that could go wrong, I almost changed my mind... but knowing other people that have done it and the success they've seen, I was set on it. My first appointment was just to have my eyes examined, sign all the paperwork, and learn everything I needed to know in order to be fully prepared. My next visit was for the procedure. This day was rough for me personally. I wasn't nervous to have it done (heck, I can do anything for 30 seconds) but after waiting over three hours in the small waiting room I almost lost my mind. When appointments are required and you know how many people are scheduled to come in that day, you roughly know how long things are going to take. Instead of trying to pack in as many patients as you possibly could in one day, maybe focus on your patients overall experience. I wouldn't have cared had they called me and shared that they overbooked and needed to change my appointment. That would have taken my experience from barely a three star, maybe even to five. A few days after the procedure I went back in for a check up that was literally less than five minutes from check in to check out. Overall, I'm glad that I did it. The day of did suck, mainly because of the waiting for so long, but I can see and for that, I am super happy.

I went in for a free consult, they encouraged me to try out contact lenses for monovision. It…read moredidn't feel like pressure at all. I did the contact, then returned for lasix. They offered medication to relax you if you feel like you would have anxiety. The procedure was so quick, literally less than 5 minutes. There was no pain, I didn't even think it was uncomfortable as others have reported. Maybe a bit awkward as they place the suction on your eyes. But there is no pain. Others have said that lasix is scary, and I really didn't feel that way at all, I guess there is a moment when you get under the laser and you have no idea what to expect or if you will feel anything. But the bladeless laser cuts your cornea, and they switch you over the lasix is like 30 seconds. Then they put drops in and send you on your way. Your vision is instantly different. I didn't experience the light sensitivity people talk about. Also people have said they were miserable after the surgery. I will say about an hour after, I just kept my eye closed, because it was watering so much, since they gave me medicine it made me tired, so I did take a nap, during that time it did feel irritable scratchy and watery. Then woke up and like night and day felt like almost nothing had happened. They have you wear the guard at night and have to put some drops in but you are literally back up and running the following day. It is honestly amazing. The staff were kind and courteous. I think the price was extremely reasonable, and ended up being 100 less than they originally quoted me. So I could not be more pleased. Would recommend this 100%.

I was referred to ReVision from my primary care eye doctor. He spoke very highly of them, but I…read moredidn't know what I didn't know until I got involved as a patient myself. ReVision consistently provides white glove service every step of the way specifically from their frontline staff. Everything from check-in's to the eye educators to the nursing staff all the way up to the surgeon, Dr. Schumer, as well as his O.D team, specifically, Dr. Huffman, who was instrumental in my follow up appointments. Anyone who knows me knows how extremely particular I am and perhaps to a fault. I refuse to lower my standards with any level of service, especially medical treatment and proactive care. ReVision does an exceptional job providing this consistent elevated service from start to finish. I couldn't be happier and I'm grateful for them every single day.
