They offered me a 2 week trial pass for my entire family but I had to give a credit card in order to create an account. I was told by the sales guy (Juan) at the Randolph LA Fitness that if I tried out the gym and didn't like it, as long as I told them before the 2 week trial was over, my card would NOT get charged. We went on 12/14 and did not like the gym. It was filthy, and while they have both a male and female custodian, the male was cleaning the women's bathroom while women were in there coming pit of the showers and sauna. I called on 12/15 and told Kenny (the manager) we didn't like the gym, weren't joining and wanted to make sure my card would not be charged. He assured me it would not. On 12/27, at the end of what would have been the trial period, my card was charged almost $300. Unauthorized, without my consent. What I've gone through since then, just trying to get my money back is a joke. Kenny is "not available" when I call, or they simply don't pick up, and dealing with corporate is no better. Carol at corporate is a liar and useless. Like Kenny, she's "not available" when I call and if you leave messages, she doesn't call you back. Both Kenny and Carol are liars as well. They tell you they'll resolve things for you and that they have put a credit through, but the don't. I was able to temporarily stop the charge from going through with my credit card company, but LA Fitness, who has been contacted by this credit card company after I disputed the charge, is not cooperating to reverse it. Stay away from this place. They're dishonest and dirty and have been sued by the FTC for doing this to countless customers!

Ive been all over the fitness spectrum from over weight, a competitive power lifter, gym meat head…read more I always thought I was "fit". After being bored of the same thing I got to a point where I was so miserable and out of shape, eating bad and unmotivated. I was so unhappy with myself I didn't know what to do. A friend told me to come to a class and try it out. I was instantly hooked and signed up that day. Since starting in February I have made such progress. I used to not even be able to run down the stairs, even though I could lift heavy weights. I wasn't really in shape like I thought. Now I can run a mile, sprint 400+ meters and I have so much more cardio endurance then I've ever in my life. Every day is different and challenges something new inside you. I was so scared to start something new, something out of my comfort zone. I walked into class and realized it was just a bunch of people like me, all ages , all sizes and even women 9 months pregnant! The coaches are all amazing and help you through everything. They will scale your workout to your best availability's but also see your potential and give you that push you don't have on your own. There are always events going on to keep you motivated and give you a goal. The owner Chris and his wife Christi are amazing! They always help with nutrition and guidance, they are so well educated. Inside this warehouse it is so much more then a gym. This is a home and it comes with a family. The people I get to see every day, work side by side with and even in events out side of the gym have become A family. Everyone is so welcoming and everyone is cheering you on! No one wants to see you fail and no one will ever let you. This place has changed my life mentality and physically, inside the gym and in every aspect of my life. I never thought I'd I AM A CROSSFITER and athlete. This is my transformation from just March to now.

Ive been between bodybuilding and powerlifting for about 7 years so far and this place definitely rocked my boat on the term fitness. I drive out when I can since I'm about 45 minutes away, but if you're in the area I'd highly recommend to check out.

They incorporate both weights and cardio for a total body workout. It's kind of like cross-fit but the workout is the actual full hour (rather than 20 minutes). If I were to offer one suggestion, although they give you time to stretch before and after the workout, it would be nice to be able to take a yoga / flexibility / stretching class as part of the membership there. Maybe like a once a week yoga class. They also have an easy to use app to check in to classes but they don't fill up so you don't need to reserve your spot well in advance. Most of the times I check in on the app on the way to the gym. It's a supportive environment and both Mike & Pasquale know everyone's name. I would have gotten a membership after my groupon expired but I'm moving out of state. But I highly encourage anyone to give it a try!

Mike and Pasquale (the two trainers that run this place) do an amazing job of kicking your butt…read morewhile also showing their utmost respect and care for you. I've only been going to Ideal for a few weeks but the trainers make each workout intense and worth your time and money. Ideal also has a community feel to it. A lot of the folks that workout here seem to get to know one another which can make the workout a lot more fun and challenging in my opinion. During the work out, you'll probably hate Mike and/or Pasquale. They challenge you and may even yell a little (not in mean way). Their boot camps consist of TRX, rowing, weightlifting, body weights, cardio (running, jumping, etc), free weights, outside activities, etc. Moreover, there are many different rotations of workouts they'll go through within the hour which makes it helpful to get a full-body workout. You'll definitely leave exhausted but happy you came. I also noticed that they tend to use the entire hour. Some places I've gone to only have you workout for about 45-50 min, however the guys at Ideal use the entire 60 min. You really get a good workout in that time. I've started at Ideal by using their Groupon deal but will definitely continue afterwards. This is one of the few boot-camp places that offer unlimited monthly boot-camps and for a price that I think is worth it. I can't recommend this place enough. I love it.
