Ibo and his team just completed a large job at our home-painting three bedrooms, hall, living room and kitchen. From beginning to end, working with Ibo has been a pleasure. When I called for a quote, he came promptly. His quote was detailed and priced fairly. I am very indecisive and Ibo was a great help to me in selecting colors...he patiently made recommendations and went so far as to bring samples of different colors in order to help me decide. Ibo's workmanship is unsurpassed, with an amazing attention to detail.... the paint job is nothing less than perfection and it is clear that he takes great pride in his craft. We have had an ongoing problem with some of the sheet rock on our ceilings in that the paint simply cracks and falls off in chunks. Ibo took the time to figure out how to properly prepare the ceilings prior to painting them so that this would not happen again, and they look perfect and beautiful. were arrived on time and with a smile on their faces each and every day. They are all extremely pleasant, hard-working and respectful to us and our home. They cleaned up each day before they left. In addition to the wonderful paint work done, Ibo is proficient at all types of carpentry and repairs. Our front door was not installed correctly several years ago and we were planning to replace it; in fact we had been told by a door installer that there was no point in repairing the door, that it would be more cost effective to replace it. Ibo took a look at the door and told me that it was completely repairable and that he could have it functioning and looking as good as new at a fraction of the cost of a new door. We now have a beautiful and perfect front door, working the way it should work. We plan to have Ibo's Painting back in January to paint our downstairs area. We purchased a house in Hawthorne, NJ and we were looking for a reputable contractor that could assist us with painting the exterior of our new home. The house was in horrible shape and needed a contractor that would contentious and detail oriented to obtain the best overall results and improve the overall look of the property. There were many contractors located on the site and Ibo's Painting was one of the contractors that provided us a bid. Being out of state establishing a trust in the contractor was key and overall performance was also a critical component to success. I met with Ibo on one of my trips up to New Jersey, explained in detail what I wanted done to the house. Ibo was extremely professional, one time and addressed all of the questions I had for him. Within 24 hours I received a bid from Ibo's Painting and 2 other local contractors. After further discussions, we selected Ibo's Painting to perform the required work. Once the contract was awarded Ibo was extremely diligent in outlining the schedule for completion. Upon arrival Ibo maintained an open line of communication with me to keep me abreast of the progress at every step. As phases of the project were completed, he sent me pictures of the progress. In the event there was a question, there were no assumptions made and he would always reach out for clarification. At the completion of the job, I met with him (he was extremely flexible to accommodate my travel schedule) to walk the property and address any point up required. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail by both him and his crew, there was no point up required. Every bedroom was not only fully painted but fixed from being an older home with buffing and dents. I originally hired Ibo and his team to repaint my daughter's room, but after I saw the quality and care of his work, I ended up having him do so much more. The outside of my house needed to be repainted, as well as the shed. While Ibo was painting the shed, he pointed out that the door to the shed was completely rotten. He rebuilt the door, which was well done, and at a reasonable price. He also repainted and spackled some ceilings in my house. Before any work started on the ceilings, he completely enclosed the areas with plastic, minimizing any mess that the sanding would make. I hired Ibo and his crew to paint the interior of my house as well as scraping off of the dreaded "popcorn" ceilings! I had been told that on numerous occasions what a messy and time-consuming process removing the popcorn ceilings would be so I was a little worried about the mess that it would make. I couldn't have been more wrong! Ibo and his men treated my house as it was their own-every night everything was spotless!! Ibo is great! I recently bought a house which needed to be updated and completely repainted. Ibo did an excellent job and was very accommodating with my schedule. Ibo is very knowledgable and can complete any project no matter how big or small. Ibo also updated my bathroom vanity. The new vanity was left by the previous owners, which unfortunately was too small. Ibo was able to fit the vanity and rework the tile to make the new vanity look amazing.
