Took 30 mins to check in - something one does not need after a five-hour drive. Get your stuff together and it will be five stars next time.

The Dormero is a decent hotel with decent size rooms and easy access to the train line. The rooms…read moreare quiet large, with two double beds put together to make queen bed. The TV console is awesome with 2 speakers mounted next to the TV. The lighting is really well done on the room, daylight (blue) or yellow light. The hotel has it's own parking lot. I am not sure if you have to pay or the hotel validates it for the guests. The hallway had a wired stench, smelled somewhat like natural gas. I didn't have breakfast, so no comment on the quality/cost. The main reason I took a star off is that the minibar is advertised as complimentary but if not stuffed with adequate supplies. It had 2 bottles of water. For additional bottles, I had to buy them at the reception. This is misleading

Nice concept - and sure much much (much!) nicer than the horrible Maritim it used to be. Stayed two…read morenights with my 23-head staff - and ran from one little nightmare to another, from room not being ready/ fully serviced (at 8pm!), lousy laundry service and disastrous dinner service - and no one taking care of us. Sorry, not good enough. by the way: we did actually get stuck in an elevator once in a dangerous situation. So the carpet shown in one of the image below is not funny.
