I found this place on a friends recommendation to get cute face masks! My sister and I went and picked up a few, cacti, anchors and USA flag one! Great quality and hold up really well. Can be thrown in washer or easily hand-washed. While there I looked around and saw they make pretty much everything custom, can engrave anything (including insulated water bottles). I will be returning in the next few weeks to have a cross engraved for my sons baptism! A friend asked me if I knew of anyone that could do embroidery, I didn't but I said I could ask the place which did alterations for me. Luckily Kathy sent me here and I was pleasantly surprised. All my friend needed was a new gold bar put on his black belt to show that he was now a 6th Degree Black Belt. The work was very good and the price very reasonable. I was happy and I did get to look around the shop and saw some interesting Knick Knacks that would make great presents, so I will be back. This is a hidden gem. read more

I gave her three Nike dry fit shirts to add NASA patches to, and when I got them back, I was shocked. She had done such shoddy work on two of them! She was simply asked to sew patches on to shirts. If she knew that she didn't have that ability, she shouldn't have attempted to sew them on... I gave her back the other one about two months ago, and I haven't heard from her since. Now I have to pay for new Nike Dry-Fit shirts, and they are not cheap. Cute store, but the skills needed to run a business, like getting back to customers and communicating in a timely manner and sewing skills, are remiss. Taking my business else. IF I COULD GIVE HER NO STAR I WOULD HAVE!!!! My daughter won 5 Monogrammed robes from Ibettink at the San Antonio Bridal Show Expo in January 2018. We went to the booth and Yvette seemed nice and told us to call. I called and left message, no answer back. I did that for months. I finally got a hold of her and gave her the information. Two of us need plus sizes so she said she would have to look for a company that does them and that we would have to pay $20 extra. I said that's fine. She was supposed to call me. Months went by... nothing. I called her again and she said oh I'm glad you called. I lost your number. Took all the information and sent it all by email too. For the pat 7 weeks this lady has been giving me the runaround. I am thankful it is me doing it, not my daughter, the bride. Weddings are stressful as it is so I volunteered because this business is unreliable and frankly gives bad customer service all around. The thing is my daughter won these. The Bridal Expo thinks this vendor is doing what they say in good faith. This lady is not! I will continue to write any reviews I can etc. so people know not to do business with her. She's dealing with a person that knows customer service and provides it everyday in my line of work plus a Mama Bear that protects and fights for her kids relentlessly. If you are interested in seeing the NUMEROUS emails back and forth as well as my call log through Verizon to her business, I can provide them. I just want what was promised to my daughter. That's all. I will never do business with this company again and will continue to let people know what they are dealing with. If she didn't want to give a gift at the show, she shouldn't have. I'm very sorry to have to give such a poor review this time around because I had such a great experience in the past but I can't give more than 1 star right now. In December I brought in several purses to get monogramed. All but 1 bag needed to be done by the first week of January and I got everything that I needed by the time that I needed them. For that experience, I was VERY satisfied. However, the last bag was never completed unfortunately. I will say that I did not bring a specific design and asked Ivette to help me find what I wanted and said that there was no rush. By mid-February I had not heard from her so I found a design and sent it to her. I was told she would try to work on it that week. Two weeks later, nothing. So I let her know that I no longer wanted her to do anything with the bag. I picked it up today. No explanation or apology was offered. I am just baffled, not sure why my order was ignored. So no I won't ever be doing business again with this place and I can't say that I would recommend it to friends anymore. They do great quality work, they really do, but what's the point in that if you are not guaranteed to get your items worked on? read more

This place is the best personalized gift Place in town. I love the dresses, children's gifts, baby outfits, and the owners ability to custom order and design for you. The teacher, friend, and pool bag gifts are the best selection and quality around. All of my children's teacher gifts have been monogrammed or customized here. Both the owner and the lady who does design know their information and make their best effort to make your order as perfect as they can. Most reasonable pricing on embroidery you will find in town with custom fonts, sizes, and a wide variety of colors. As far as these other people who had bad experienced, please understand that this is a small business in San Antonio. Ordering something special sometimes means that the owner can only do 1 order per month or is waiting on the manufacturer to get the size, color, selection, et al in stock. Your best bet is to visit to store inventory and see what she has OR bring in that something special that you want personalized and work with these lovely ladies. To me waiting one week (when other stores won't place an order under 1 month in advance) on a child's thermos cup, backpack, uniform item, or teacher gift is more than fair. The owner is a great communicator, creative, and collaborative in her process for making something amazing for you! Do not believe the past reviews. Go in and sit with the owner who has helped my family some 45 times to make an item unique!!! read more

I'm not one who likes to give bad feed back but I feel it's needed. I gave Ibettink several business opportunities for items needed for our wedding. However, the more money we went spent with her the worse the customer service became. The first initial order, which was our wedding invitations, went fairly smoothly, a little long to process but I assumed that was the printer not Ibettink. The second order, gifts for my bridesmaids, took longer to process than I was told and it came with many excuses, such as I was busy with graduation, Mother's Day, then it moved to being busy with Father's Day and summer vacation orders, mind you I had already paid for my items in advance. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then I place my third order, items for our reception. I originally began asking for pricing on the items in May. But again it was excuses why she hadn't been able to send me pricing information. I finally went into the shop on July 20th and had Yvette sit down, give me pricing and I paid for the order then and there. She said her daughter had to do the art work and she would have it to me that week. Weeks went by and several emails went unanswered. When I finally got a reply I was told I would have the art work that evening... still days later no artwork. On September 1st my fiancé and I went into the shop to find out what the hold up was. She immediately had excuses that she had been sick, something about her daughter, she had been busy and so on. After I explained to her that I had already paid she turned to my fiancé and told him he needed to keep me from freaking out because we had plenty of time; at this point we were 8 weeks from our wedding and didn't have time for error, plus the order had been paid for months prior. She said her daughter would be in that day and she would have her do the artwork and send it to us. At close of business, nothing! I emailed her yet again. I finally got the art work that evening. Now a few weeks later I go in to pick up my order on the date she tells me it will be delivered and it's not there. After that she basically stopped responding to me or when she did respond it was with an excuse. She told me the printer printed them in the wrong color and had the be re done. My fiancé called to demand our money back and she told him the order was already on its way. She told him that it was new vendor she used and blamed them for the delay. She promised to follow up with him in a few days with a tracking number and estimated delivery date, which she didn't. Nearly two weeks after he asked for our money back the items arrived on my doorstep. Well I opened the invoice, called the print company she ordered from and found out she had placed the order only a couple days prior to the delivery. So I'm a nutshell, it was excuse after excuse to cover the fact that she dropped the ball. I feel like Yvette was dishonest with us on more than one occasion when she should have just been forthcoming and told us she screwed up. I'm a pretty easy going person but my fiancé and I were more than patient with Yvette and her lack of customer service was pretty disappointing. Being new to the area I didn't know of any other print shops or I would have gone elsewhere. We found Ibettink at a wedding fair and used them because they had the exact invitations we wanted on display. When we started addressing invitations we decided we needed to order a few more because we were going to be about 10 short but due to all the hassle we were going through with the other order we did our best to make do with what we had because we refused to give her anymore business. read more

Worst monogramming experience. This place agreed to fix a monogram for us and quoted that it would take 5-7 days to complete the work... but after OVER 2 weeks and several phone calls, they came to the determination that they couldn't. Pretty surprising since it's a simple and small job but I completely understand if someone can't complete a job for any reason.. no issue there but don't agree to a job, let the customer wait for weeks, and then say you can't do it. I've gotten so many items monogrammed and being a military family, have gone to many monogram shops. This was definitely the worst experience. Since they went over a week over their quoted time, we have since left Texas and on our way on a cross country move. Now if I wanted to get the item back I would have to get someone to pick it up and ship it to me? Crazy. Very unfortunate because my daughter's top was on the pricer side and we have wasted so much time with this company. read more
