What we were told changed and proved to be untrue. We are taking our business to another bank because of this. I personally went to their home loan officer and he told me I would not qualify for the home I wanted. I went to another bank and closed on the home less than a month later. This bank's loan department is rigid and failed to live up to the promises they made. Leaving

My beef is not with this branch. My beef is with centennial online/mobile banking. i created a yelp…read moreaccount solely because my experience with centennial has been so awful, and their customer service lines are closed on the weekends. Good thing people don't need to use their money on the weekends right? Opened my app and tried to sign in with my passcode which immediately notified me of an error. The app then prompted me to sign in with user/password. It says my password is incorrect. I was locked out and went through a full reset last month, and recorded all login credentials on paper and have used them since then, they are NOT incorrect. Now I'm doing it again. This is the 4th or 5th time this has happened. I try to reset my password but it doesn't work. I fill in all required fields and submit, and the page completely clears everything I've typed and reloads the page, prompting me to fill in all the fields AGAIN. I saw a review stating the same problem from 2023 so clearly no moves have been made to make this a better bank. I think it's time for me to make a move to a better bank, one that lets me access my accounts or maybe one that doesn't glitch out every few months requiring a full reset.

I wouldn't suggest first security bank even to my worst enemy, they have been nothing but problems…read moreand excuses and I finally switched to Arvest and have been incredibly satisfied. A few of the many issues experienced at first security, the biggest being that sometimes charges would be mislabeled on the online app and therefore would be marked as fraudulent. Once, our car/home insurance payment came out as "Toyota finance". I do not own a Toyota so of course I marked it as fraudulent, which denied the payment to the actual business United home insurance. Thanks to FS I owed the insurance company a NSF fee and now have to take my payment in person (even though I've changed banks) because they incorrectly assume it meant I didn't have money which was not true. So angering. On top of that we kept getting charged a NSF fee on our account, to the sum of almost $300 in total, yet we had funds in our account. You can't see what is trying to come out or the total without calling or going to the bank directly. We finally went to this branch and had them break down our entire account to us and told us the president themselves would be calling us directly to figure out the NSF fees. The call never came through so we chose to take our business to arvest. I'm so over this bank and am thankful I found a bank that cares and I get my paycheck 1 day earlier than I did with FS, which is a helpful bonus.
