About 8 shops in the area said they opened at 9 am. After the third shop I was about to call it quits, but I found this shop. I walked in and there were already 3 Barbers working and the cuts they were doing looked to be on point. When I was called up by Leon, I explained the situation. I described the cut. He cut my hair and it was exactly what I asked for. It's a simple fade, but you'd be surprised at many people mess it up, Leon didn't. Again it was exactly what I asked for. I was glad I had an appointment, because the wait looked long. I showed Albert some pictures of what I wanted and he did just that. I was pleased with the haircuts and continued to bring my boys here from time to time. There was an adult movie playing when I came in, and I appreciated the fact that they changed it to something more kid friendly without having to say anything. It is better to make an appointment here, but I've seen them take walk ins. So I guess it depends how much time you're willing to wait. The wait depends on who is available and willing to fit you in. The only issue I had here was coming for a scheduled appointment and waiting an hour after. How that happened I'm not sure, but it looked like he took a walk in and it took longer than expected. Other than that, I've never had a problem coming here. The prices for haircuts are reasonable, it's a chill vibe, and I feel the haircuts were good. Albert has been the only one to cut my boys hair and I'm happy with his work. I can't speak for the other barbers, but from what I see, they do a good job too. There is a small parking lot with free parking. Can get full, but I've never had an issue getting a spot. Locker room in IB…read more.. Just giving a heads up to walk-ins for future customers. For context I've been getting the same haircut for almost 3 years now. Been here about 6 times or so and there are some good barbers here and I'm glad one of the barbers offered a free cut after I left but I cant come back to this place. Was cut by a new barber and asked for a burst fade with a 5 on top. I usually let barbers work their art and I was clearly wrong for doing so. I sat for almost 3 hours for this cut. 2 hours in the barber said he was done and I have a FAUX-HAWK! It was clearly not what I asked for so I tried to be cool with it since he said he'd cut it off and just fade the back. Instead I still got a triangle shape cut in the back and he C cupped one of my sideburns and messed up the other side leaving a flat line on the side and left a bald spot he accidentally cut next to the imperfection on my head (red mole). Kinda pissed there were so many barbers in there without a customer, watching as my hair got messed up. I would've been happy if they stepped in after I said I didn't ask for a faux-hawk instead like 2 barbers walked away to let him try to fix it after he was going at it for over 2 hours. If someone's still learning help them out before it ends up like this. Sorry if this comes off as rude, but I'm embarrassed that I'm going to wear this cut for at least 2 weeks.
