Ordered carry out Sweet and Sour Chicken with a side of Shrimp Fried Rice. The food was hot and ready when promised. The sweet and sour chicken was extremely bland. The batter was so thick that I wasn't sure there was even chicken inside. The Shrimp fried rice had a good amount of shrimp, but NO shrimp flavor and was not fried. It was yellow sticky rice with shrimp added. Very weird read more

I was in the area and craving sushi. Big mistake. Not only did all my food come out in to go containers, the sushi was a bit warmer than it should be. When the food came out, I was pleasantly surprised at the large pieces of sushi rolls. However, it was warm and mushy. The "soy sauce" that they gave me was in a to go container as well...It smelled strange and tasted strange. Almost like liquid smoke rather than soy sauce. Food was ready soon enough, I did not enjoy the breading, portion, or sauce of the soft shell crab for the price. Onto the volcanic snapper, it's tasty, but not nearly enough actual curry, why are all restaraunts stingy with the sauce/soup vegetables and fish are cut huge, you have to cut them yourself, same for the green curry which was tasty but again, not enough sauce and just huge pieces of vegetables. read more

This was my first visit here, I got takeout from the combo menu- $11.99. Chicken low mein which comes with rice and an egg roll and they give a lot. I also ordered a crab Rangoon as an appetizer. I have to say this was the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. This will be my new Asian food spot from now on. read more

How have I lived in North Port for nearly five years and never been to iAsia? This is a small and modest place. It's nothing fancy but super clean. You order and pay at the counter and they will bring your food to the table you choose. The servers were cordial and helpful and the food was fantastic!! Seven years later, I decided to give them another chance. Utilized their online system on New Years Eve and my order never went through. The rude girl behind the counter made no attempt to diffuse the situation and had the nerve to give me an attitude. The owner attempted to make things calmer and right, and shuffled my order before all the other outstanding orders. Based on other reviews, i see that others have had the same experience with the counter girl. The food was alright. I only ordered from here because our usual spot was closed. I don't think based on my two experiences I would order from here again. I would recommend if you use their online systems, even if you get an email confirming your order, you call to confirm that the order went through. Very disappointing!! My husband and I ordered sweet and sour shrimp, shrimp steamed dumplings and vegetable spring rolls. The sweet and sour shrimp sauce container was not closed and ended up all over the bag. There was more dough than shrimp. The dumplings (if you want to call them that) were the size of a quarter with some kind of paste in the middle. I was supposed to get 6 but only got 5. On top of that, it cost me $7.19 for them. Dumplings are supposed to be decent size, not quarter size. Didnt even taste like shrimp. The vegetable spring rolls were about 1 1/2 inches long and overcooked with barely anything inside. Food was burnt. Had burnt vegetables and meat. You could smell it as soon as you opened container. Called and woman barely spoke English and told me food was not burnt. To bring her the food to see. Drove over and showed her the food. She looked at it, screamed at the cook, came back and then told me "so I guess you want another one right!" I told her I wanted her to know my $18 dish was burnt and to tell the cook. She just smiled like I wanted free food from her and tried to cuss me out and told me to leave. We usually order $80 plus orders weekly for our family dinner on Sunday. Business will go elsewhere now. Owner was rude, had no accountability and didn't even say sorry for burning food. read more

I had the worst experience from them ever at this place I ordered a decent meal online $50 worth My biggest issue was they don't label any of their ingredients online with the menu on any item so be cautious when ordering with any allergies because they don't care if you call them to make a complaint because they just tell you to put everything your allergic too on the order to ensure they don't add anything to kill you I also had miso soup come with my combo meal too and it tasted foul and like it's been sitting for hours also when I stir it it looked like something curdled in it also really makes your appetite go for the gutter I also watch my best friend eat his dinner witch was regular teriyaki chicken and he started having allergic reaction when his throat started closing an he started vomiting violently until he got everything out of his system and no he just trying to breathe an catch his breath now. read more

The food here was a great treat after moving from Austin , TX . Which with the huge Asian community there it's hard not to find amazing Chinese food. We had tried three Chinese restaurants since moving here. An with my wife being very picky ( being Asian herself) she feels the flavors and quality is very good. Only ordered sushi so far. It was pretty terrible. Rice was hard and over cooked. Avocados in all the rolls were all mushy and discolored . Fish had a weird smell. I don't know about their Chinese food, but sushi I would NOT come back for 100%. read more

This is a 3 star review but I do go to this place quite often. I would say this place is very average but it's definitely solid and I do recommend if your in the area. I have had salmon (raw) definitely wasn't the freshest (not vibrant pink in color more dull and dark) pad Thai was also average, China One (Venice) has better pad Thai. Ordered two soups, two appetizers and three dinners. Everything was way overcooked. Crab ragoon was a small dollup of cream cheese with no hint of crab. Fried dumplings were so overcooked they couldn't be eaten. The hot and sour soup had so much salt it was unpalatable. The General Tso's Chicken was tiny pieces of thigh meat with so much breading you couldn't taste the chicken and the sauce had no flavor and no heat to it. The Moo Shoo chicken was waaaaaaay over cooked and the Mongolian beef was chewy flank steak. I don't think the cooks here could cut any more corners and still call this chinese food. My advice, don't eat here unless you want overpriced sushi. read more

My wife and I got carry out for lunch and took home. No problem with quantity, boxes were stuffed really full. Chicken Lo Mein was good but not great 7/10. General Tao chicken was hard to chew perhaps over cooked 5/10. The boneless spare ribs were like jerky bits, a lot for a small but just bits and jaw taxing. Total cost 33.17. Not in a hurry to go back. Plus it took almost 25 minutes to get order which we didn't mind but a two top came in 10 minutes after we ordered, sat down and ordered and received their food 5 minutes sooner that we did. Unfortunately nothing tasted fresh. We have tried many other Chinese food restaurants and can say we will not be returning here. Couldn't even eat our $80 order...beef with broccoli was very chewy, had minimal flavor, and tasted old. Beef Lo mein was falling apart into little pieces and tasted weird as well. General tso's was hard and stringy. Fried rice was hard and also had an odd aftertaste. We were so hungry and so excited... super disappointed. Tried their sushi for the first time today! Got the -wonderful roll- and it was just that! Soooooo good. A bit pricy though. However, I'm giving 4 stars because they don't have many options for sushi or some of the basic hand rolls you'd see everywhere else. read more

This is my favorite place in North Port to get sushi and other oriental foods. It is very clean, which is very important to me. Many chain oriental restaurants use MSG and I am very sensitive to that. This place doesn't seem to do that. The food here is very good. I trust eating raw seafood from here. The worst food, I have ever had. I was excited to go here because they had a lot of items on their menu that I had back in China last year. This place was the worse place I have ever been too in my 21 years of life. The food is was gross, and the sushi tasted crunchy and not put together well. One of my worse experience I have ever had. Food was amazing!!!! My husband and I are huge fanatics when it comes to the Asian cuisine. We ordered the red curry and one of the party sushi plates. The red curry was great! I loved the variety of veggies and there were large shrimp in the dish that were cooked to perfection!! The sushi was so good!! One of the best I have ever had. it was made fresh and the quality and use of ingredients were spot on for incorporating different flavors!!
