Maui HS Is close to the OGG Airport for me flying in from Oahu. Great sportsmanship from coaches, parents and the wrestlers that compete here. Administrators are very supportive of our great sport of wrestling too. The Maui HS wall of fame inside gym is a great tribute to those Maui attendees that became iconic Americans who's sacrifice and goal of excellence, made a mark upon our great nations character, through their life achievements. This musical knocked it out of the park! Excellent casting, musical score, props and wardrobe, lighting, it all just ran smoothly and created a magical night. Well done to everyone who worked on it. I love The Adams Family and hadn't realized there was a musical version, and it had quite a few laugh lines scattered throughout to keep you amused too. I was surprised there wasn't a bigger audience....I go to school plays on island when I can and am always amazed at how polished and professional they are, and a great night out for a cheap ticket! We first walked in and immediately felt the passion that both Katie and Michelle had for not only teaching but for the kids. And it's definitely evident when we see them with our child. Below are just some of the many reasons we love the school: They follow the DOE (department of education) calendar. If you have other kids, you know how important it is to have them all off at the same time for vacations!  Small class sizes. The kids get the one-on-one they not only need, but deserve. The teachers really get to know the kids on a personal level and it shows when they do the parent teacher conferences. They are able to articulate where your child is excelling and where they need extra attention and give you the support you need to help them at home.  Strong Montessori foundation. We've explored many other types of schools but have found that Montessori is the absolute best for our child. She's just started Kindergarten and will be well above 2nd grade level once she's finished.  After school programs. The school offers many exciting after school programs that the kids love like soccer, dance, science and even yoga. These really benefit us in particular because they go beyond the normal school hours and work best with our work schedules.  Price. Very affordable especially considering the quality education that the kids receive and there are plenty of programs for financial assistance (preschool open doors).  Cultural/environmental awareness. One thing we really love is how our child is now very aware of their environmental footprint and how they can make positive changes. For instance, they have a Monk Seal responder team that will actually go out and meet when there is a Monk Seal sighting. This hands on approach is such an amazing way for the kids to learn. At when its dark out it seen a scary and confusing to navigate there are maps of the campus but you in a rush they can been confusing. That said luckily there amply parking and security take there job seriously and are helpful. Mikaela has always been a shy girl, she never talks to anyone or sings on the stage. She's a total opposite to her twin sister who's more outgoing and and talkative. The teachers of Christ the king helped Kaela open up to her friends and to others. One of the things that touched my heart was when they created an animal clinic inspired by Kaela since she wants to be a veterinarian one day. They sincerely care and love each and every children in their classes. They know they're preferences and the children love them like their own Aunties. These teachers pour out their heart and soul to teach them and prepare them for the future. I love and appreciate you all and I am so sad that I won't see you guys next year and but we will bring the kids to visit!! I recommend CHRIST THE KING PRESCHOOL!
