I stated to her several times that I have family who does title. The buyers were paying for sellers title. Normally, a company charges less than $500.00.l( and $500.00 is their high price if there is a lot of work to be done) $250.00-$300.00 is a normal charge. The woman Rachel, NEVER once said that there was a $600.00 charge( which normally they charge$800.00) She didn't know that until I started asking what all these fees were. The ONLY charge she told me about was the $350.00 estoppel fee which I was glad to pay right then and there. Instead, she never sent me the email and said "she took care of it for us " because " we had such a great conversation " ( sorry, but your 15 min converses not worth $600.00!!!!!) Then it wasn't $350. She ended up charging us $371.00! ( I really could care less) So yesterday, after all the paperwork is signed, and I kept asking about the $600.00. She said she would talk to the attorney and get back to me. ( shouldn't we know exactly what we are supposed to be getting fro the sale of our home? ) the numbers were all messed up. They didn't even have the correct pay off from Our mortgage that was $5,000.00 less than what they said we owed!!!!!!! She kept saying to me over and over " next time I'll know to fully disclose the price" , next time I'll make sure it's in an email, we just had such a great conversation that I thought we were on the same page. " I'm sorry , Rachel, I am not your $600.00 mistake!!!!! Do NOT USE ThIs COMPANY!!!! I cannot get someone in charge on the phone. Instead, she sent out emails saying we were in default. BS!! By law( if I'm not mistaken) they have 3 days to have these papers to us. We got them Monday afternoon and closing was on Wednesday at 1:00. Technically, I should have had them by Saturday if they wanted to close on Wednesday!

We were never provided with a copy of the title nor the survey as we were legally entitled to. This wasn't realized until a few years later when we tried to refinance and needed a copy of the documents. They charged us a 2nd time for a copy of our title (the one they never gave us a copy of in the first place). The same Rachel admin person as the previous complaint, was initially nice and then became rude as we proceeded through the process. Once you provide them with proof that we had already paid for our survey, they shut down communication with us. There is more to our story and the malpractice of this company but I will share that with the courts. Do NOT use this company! They will not respond timely to you and will scam you out of your money!
