Jade, the PA, is one of the most personable, empathetic providers I've seen. It's always such a pleasure to meet with her. You don't feel rushed. She listens to all of your concerns and comes up with a solid game plan to get you on the road to managing your pain. The office has a wonderful electronic messaging system and at least one person always gets back to me quickly with any questions I have about scheduling, insurance approvals or prescription refills. I've been seeing Dr. Manzi and Dr. Wiederholtz for over 4 years. Previous providers were never able to get to the root of the problem the way these providers have been able to succeed. My last cervical steroid injection that I recieved from Dr. Manzi allowed me to be pain free for about one year. And Dr. Wiederholtz had been able to get my thumbs working again. I highly recommend Performance Pain and Sports Medicine.

Her BACK and HIP stopped hurting so much when her knee started to feel better. She is going back for 10 more Laser sessions on her HIP and BACK to see if they can improve more. Insurances will not cover the Laser treatments which cost $1000 for a set of 10. She said it was money well invested on her health.

I have been seeing a very competent doctor for years for my horrific joint pain. I recently moved to the Houston area and needed a local doctor. I was told to go see Dr. M. I made the appointment just fine. There was an issue getting my extensive files transferred but finally all came thru. When you visit the office you must give a urine sample......in a different part of the building and walk through the halls with your pee in hand! Weird but ok. The ladies at the front are nice but that is where it ends. The nurse Mary was the rudest, most disrespectful person I've ever met. She sits with her back to you asking a million question(which you take time to fill out before your appointment). She has the worst tone in her voice and she is texting under the table the whole time. Having chronic pain is hard enough but to be treated like she treats you is very insulting. When he does finally comes in, he said he wasn't going to treat me for my pain with the traditional meds that I was taking, he decided to schedule me for injections(without looking at my Mri). I told him IF I were to get injections that I would be getting them from a different place that was recommended from my chiropractor. He got his ego hurt and from that moment on he refused to look at anymore of my charts and told me to take extra meloxicam for my pain. Between him and his rude nurse Mary, I have decided to look elsewhere for a empathetic doctor that would take the time to actually look at my history and work with me to release some of the pain I live with on a daily basis.
