This is a sushi place by Joel Robuchon, and as one would expect - they have really eclectic sushi options. They are some sushi which are also available by the piece as well. To add, this place is fairly reasonable. The young couple running the place are really friendly, welcoming and patient and will go the extra mile to explain the menu and how they cook the different dishes. If sushi is not your thing we were really impressed by the flavors of the Pho and the mi-cha (sautéed noodles) was also outstanding and not greasy at all. We had a lovely evening amongst the ladies and enjoyed a variety of Asian dishes from salmon tartare salad with Cambodian flavours to Bo Bun with Black Angus beef and chicken spring rolls. The desserts were creative from a chocolate soufflé to a ginger pineapple crumble topped with lime sorbet and caramel sauce plus a key lime cheesecake (the less successful of the desserts). I agree with Anais that some dishes could have used a little more spice or maybe some chillies on the side / on the table to allow people who love heat (me!) to customise their dishes a bit (the Pad Thai for example). Check it out, the chef is Asian, the location itself is pleasant inside and we were really very well received. A nice oasis in the middle of a shopping spree :)

A new Japanese restaurant in Nice…read more It is in a street where we do not think of going to find a restaurant that is this new Japanese restaurant Amada. We arrive in a small room, with a simple and appropriate decoration. The welcome and the service are very satisfactory. The card is restricted enough. The menu consists of a first dish, a dish and a dessert, if my memory is good this one is approximately 35EUR. À la carte is only dishes and desserts but no first dish. Great restaurant, too bad that the card is so restrictive.
