Falsified promises. After an MRI I learned I had spinal stenosis which Chiropractic could not fix, nor did Dr. RJ address or acknowledge! Love the energy of the office and have had great results over the last 6+ months. The best part is going through the initial exam and X-rays and redoing them as you progress through the program. It allows you to see the active change happening in your body rather than just relying on "I feel better." My X-rays showed that only 1 vertebrae that was moving properly when I started. I have rated Dr. RJ and his practice a 5 star before because I believe in him and what he does and I still do today! I wanted to write another review for two additional reasons on why it is a 5 star chiropractic family practice. First, family! He cares for the kids. My girls have been getting adjustments for over 3 years, it is a way of life and they know and enjoy being in his office and being adjusted. They come away with saying power on, they know when they don't feel good that they go to the chiropractor and even ask to go. Dr RJ's office is like family and we love Sophia and Samantha who also love on our family. The second reason is specific special care. It has been a year since I lost my son prematurely 22 weeks pregnant. Dr RJ walked me through the process with care and empathy, before having to go into labor and delivery he did special adjustments and if you could know my whole story it was what I needed to deliver my son in a natural way and not massive surgery. I have received nothing less than family type care and attention and would highly recommend Dr. RJ. Despite my best intentions to stay healthy and fit, I constantly suffered from extreme back pain. So much so, that I was often laid up in bed with a thrown out back or severe pain in my lower back. In some cases, it got so bad, I even had a hard time breathing. If you look at my review history, I have tried physical therapy, rolfing, and even other chiropractors - while most of the ones I have reviewed helped slightly, none were able to both relieve me of pain and help me live a normal life (which for me means five-six days of cross fit, golf, softball, tennis, etc). If you were like me, I was always scared - scared of the next moment my back would go and ruin a week or two of my life. I had to live my life apprehensively - it sucked! That all changed when I found Dr. RJ and I Get It Chiropractic. RJ and his wife Michelle (also a doctor there) take great care to understand what is causing your pain and take a holistic approach to healing you - hence the name - Maximized Living. While I have mostly focused on his chiropractic work, they also have lectures on health and wellness, nutrition advice, etc. What RJ has done for me has dramatically improved my life. I feel great and for the first time in over 15 years, I am not scared of something happening to my body. While I still may tweak a muscle or two due to normal soreness from cross fit, the level of 'trauma' is nowhere near my historical issues. My body is getting back in 'shape.' As Dr. RJ always says - the "Power is Back On." It is an amazing feeling knowing I can do the activities I want without worry of a back injury caused by my body simply not working in alignment with itself. If you are even remotely curious, don't hesitate to check out Dr. RJ and Dr. Michelle. Jen, their office manager, will do a great job of getting you in and started. I've been a skeptic for years about chiropractors. Dr. RJ has been incredibly resourceful and educational. By taking the time to share with me about what true chiropractic medicine is about,and how there's a huge connection with other proper operation of all of our body systems, he helped me understand why I had been so skeptical and that this is truly medicinal on more levels than simple back and neck pain. So I was initially pretty skeptical, "The Power that made the body Heals the body". Fine whatever, I really just wanted my back fixed. I had suffered for years ever since an old lifting injury tore something and recent workout activity had caused it to flare up, only this time it didn't go away. I had gone to doctors for years and all they ever gave me was "here are some exercises and take aspirin or ibuprofen, and if it gets worse we may have to consider surgery". Having heard this enough I decided to try Chiropractic despite 'horror stories' from friends and family warning me not to let them touch my neck for it could be fatal. I went in grumpy, in pain, and got checked out; Dr. RJ adjusted my atlas on the spot and was instructed to come back. I felt different but not necessarily better, I understand things take time so I kept coming back for my weekly sessions. Even before my back was healed, my years of suffering from migraines had completely ceased. The thought that those could even be eradicated never even entered my mind. Not long after my back was back to better than any point I can remember in the past 10 years... I felt alive again! On top of that an old Grade 3 Acromioclavicular tear (basically tore my connective tissue from my collarbone to my arm) had stopped hurting, and not only that but the severity of the drop had actually lessened. I thought I was seeing/feeling things but comparing pictures to a few months ago with now is unreal, I'm in total disbelief that this could be possible. There's a million of these reviews and I know Dr. RJ has a thing about 5 star reviews (sorry!) but man this practice is the real deal and turned a skeptic around, like mental health, spine health really is something that should be considered and addressed in everyone's life. My 10 year old grandson gets adjustments and his balance is improved after his 1st adjustment when he was 9. Well worth every penny! Dr. RJ treats the whole patient, not just symptoms. Of course if your issue is injury related, you might be able to get by with a single visit or two. However, most issues are lifestyle related and therefore you need to make chiropractic care a part of your lifestyle. Think of it like taking daily vitamins or going to the gym 2-3 times a week - it just becomes part of your routine. Do not listen to the 1-star reviews about changing hours, they are not based on the quality of care and service you get here. Scam - great sales pitch Sadly I am writing this review to inform anyone who needs to know that this was a terrible experience for me. I felt that they were fantastic sales people and I got suckered into a scam. I felt great before and just got lured into preventative. After $1,000 and a lot of commuting I ended up feeling worse than ever! I could see investing in this if I had a life threatening illness like they sell you on but still not sure it would work then but for the average Joe that feels good already don't get suckered into this.
