Both of those studios have proven track records and have a reputation in the area for producing dancers who are known on a national stage. With Aim, your child will be 'invited' to try out for multiple competition teams either immediately or after 1 year. Almost all competition dancers with Aim are in at least 6-8 routines and end up paying an average of $10k-$15k for 10 months of tuition and competitions. You read that correctly... $10-$15k per year! That is the cost for your child to compete in Recreational league competitions, not Advanced or Competitive. If you're looking to make that type of investment for your child to dance, I do not recommend Aim.

Starmakers is also a great place if your dancer is interested in competitive dance. They have many levels from prep classes all the way to elite divisions. The studio is consistently bringing home regional and national championships is all genres. My daughter started there at age 5, began competing at 7 and competed until she graduated. She went though the dances pretty fast and didn't explain every move fully especially for a beginners class, but if you wanted to ask questions you could and made you feel comfortable doing so. The studio was big enough so everyone has room, the speakers were loud and full, and the room was a good temperature. They have other classes like ballet, jazz, tab, and much more. I definitely want to take more classes! Great first experience!

Very organized, easy to make monthly payments through their parent portal. The staff is super nice and very professional. Their prices are very reasonable and the owner Melanie is the nicest person you will ever meet. They have cameras inside each of the studios so you can watch on a TV screen in the waiting area. The building is very nice and located in a great part of Greenville. I highly recommend this place for parents who's children want a great experience and get a great knowledge of dance.
