Here is what made me realize we've been missing out. - The spinach pastry at Archie's is a true standout. This creation tastes like a buttery quiche with a fluffy, layered croissant puff. The storefront is very small up front. There's maybe 3-4 tables, with a counter to order from and a rotating video screen. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. They have a wider variety of beignet options with some specialty items and savory items as well. I opted for a couple of beignet samplers, selecting a classic French Quarter beignet (fried with powdered sugar), a brown butter glazed, and a chocolate glazed. I also grabbed a sweetened cafe au lait and a sweetened cafe noir. Across the board, everything was delicious, though the cafe noir was a bit too bitter for my taste despite having been sweetened.
