CP Farmhouse is such a beautiful family owned store. They sell Amish made furniture and so many…read morestunning little ornaments and decor pieces for your home. Currently everything in the store is Holiday themed. I'm sure with the seasons and holidays their inventory changes. There are plenty of items made by local artisans, such as hand poured candles, goat milk skin care, reefs and more! Don't forget to take the stairs upstairs to discover more gems and a small clearance section. Most of the items are a bit over priced. A tiny little hen ornament that's made of mostly fluff is $18. The substantial items like the tables, chairs and such are truly quality. I would stop by here again when I'm in the area, I had a lot of fun browsing through this little store.

Plus, the store is closing tomorrow in 2/19/18, so get your shopping in now with their deep discount (it seems up to about 50%). A lot of things in the store are very pretty, but really overpriced. There are no hidden treasures here you're going to overpay for, and some of the items seem to have a few liberties taken with their description. One of my shopping companions, an admittedly self taught glass collector, point out one "hand blown" bowl that was quite clearly pressed, including the makers mark. I wish the shop luck with their new adventure into the online!

There's an upstairs with a coffee table, a bean bag chair and two chairs (and lots of artists wares for sale on the wall). There are a few tables outside, so waiting until it's warm enough or ordering To-Go would be my suggestion. I shared pictures of the beautiful breakfast plates we received. The food was delicious! The sausage I asked for in my Eggs Benny was delicious! They were clearly homemade sausage that had a nice rosemary flavor. My husband's breakfast star was the chef made ham steak slices, and the rosemary sourdough toast. Yes, I recommend the food here! We were rather disappointed by the temperament of the person we assumed is the owner... when asked if they would please lower the music a little, because I'm healing from a traumatic brain injury (and it was blasting commercials and music; it wasn't a pleasant music track or album), said with an attitude "Sorry I can't control where the speakers are", and from that point seemed a lot less friendly. Her attitude didn't ruin the taste of the food, but this was a special outing (my first in 3 years since falling on black ice), near Goodspeed Opera House. This is a touristy area and people that run breakfast/brunch spots are usually friendly and eager to help with small requests. Often interactions with the restaurant staff adds greatly to the experience. Her sour grapes and refusal to help me feel comfortable by lowering it a smidge (I was already wearing noise cancelling ear buds, just so you understand how loud it was and that she didn't turn it down even a tiny bit), made breakfast less nice. We won't be returning ~ there are so many restaurants struggling to survive after Covid, we'd rather spend our time and money there.

I personally would not have even bought these pieces if they had actually posted their ACTUAL hours which are very different from the one they post on their auctions on Invaluable. Their "summertime" hours means they are not open on Mondays which disputes what they put online and they also leave at 1 on Friday. I was lucky they had people on site around 3:30 on Friday otherwise I would have never been able to pick up my furniture and would have been charged daily had I not been able to pick it up!! I will never make another purchase here again.

I knew I couldn't just take home because the item was heavy as heck and if I took home I would put off and procrastinate. Wilson is centrally located on Washington ave north haven. Owner graciously met me downstairs, removed item from my car and took the time to inspect the item and point out the "gem" I procured as he compared my lounge to the "prefab won't-last-five-years chaise lounges of today. He asked questions on where the item will be stored (high traffic va low traffic areas of home) and when i answered he provided a plethora of fabrics to consider. Most importantly, he did NOT expect full payment that day! Whew!! What a relief. Starting a new business is expensive so not having to make full payment before work commenced made my day. Chair is absolutely a transformation. Comfortable and I can't wait to use as a prop. Love the oatmeal color I chose.

My father had a chair that has been in the family for generations, in fact his grandad read him…read morebed-time stories in this one over 65 years ago. The years had not been kind to the chair, fabric needed to be replaced, padding worn and arm of the chair completely broken. Rich was great from start to finish. He was able to help us find the right fabrics and bring life back to the chair - looks good as new and still holds that antique quality they just don't make anymore!
