When I first began my experience with Boudoir it started out amazing, then I fell victim to Shalon's narcissistic personality. I paid for my first shout in full and received my items but only after I had to continue to ask for them. I paid for a boudoir women's retreat planned by Shalon in full in March of 2022 and it was cancelled when I asked for my money back I was told "I am broke but we are going to plan another one so you will be paid for" another retreat was planned in July 22, Oct 22 and then June 2023, all were cancelled and still did not receive my refund. It was not until I made threats I received my money. Shalon tries to befriend you and take you under her wing because she knows a lot of women out there have self esteem issues or lack self confidence. She takes advantage of you in all aspects of who what and where you are in the know. She will even use your name or advice in buying things but then never pays in full what she owes. She uses people and is a horrible person. I was placed as an ambassador for her studio and she expected me to be available for her 24/7 and the minute I was not available to do a model call or a shoot or what she wanted she began to belittle me talking about me badly and my shoots to other members and photographers. Degrading me as a person and even sharing raw photos and pointing out my flaws to others and when I asked for items I was owed, she ignored me and started lashing out like she does to anyone who gets on her bad side. I was to receive 5% of any referrals once they paid in full, between the 3 people I referred and the package they purchased, they paid a total 18,000$ and I have yet to receive any percentage of that. Shalon allows her boyfriend Octavian to be in the studio while shooting and even allows him to take photographs of clients and it is extremely uncomfortable, but when you express it to Shalon she becomes offensive and backlashes that it is her stupid and she can have who she wants there. She is not professional at all. She speaks to people in a very unprofessional manner and tone and while doing group shoots or settings, she belittles those around and is very rude. Shalon had an original studio with her Ex Christina and she ended up closing it while owing money and photos to clients then she opened it again and then when things got heated she moved again and then had a falling out with one of her close partners in the studio and she yet again has taken peoples money, not followed through with appointments or has lied and made others feel less than because they don't follow through with her plans or wants. She claims to be the top boudoir photographer in Fresno but she is not, in fact she should be on the very bottom, not just for her work (that she doesn't do because she sends it out to be corrected and edited) but for her lies and deceit. Save yourself the money, heartache and stress DO NOT go with Shalon for your Boudoir photos go somewhere else where you will actually be appreciated and given what you pay for. read more

I was referred by a friend who subcontracted with the business owner I prepaid a 1200 deposit then because they had a falling out Shalon took me off the schedule and won't return calls or text messages.. she is trying to steal my money but I have text receipts which are admissible in court.. a scam artist at her best read more

Photographer promises provide pictures from photoshoot for customers to use for their own benefit and then refuses to provide images that can be downloaded for higher quality and instead expects the customer to screenshot their own photos. When a request was made to receive the photos to download, the photographer then asks for an additional fee. I wouldn't recommend this photographers services. read more

I'm a man... just in case it wasn't evident. My wife had her pictures done by this incredible photographer! They hang on the wall and they are a reminder of my wife's stunning beauty. Talk about something that sets the mood! They are amazing pictures! They are so good I decided to have my picture taken with my wife last night and I can't wait to see what the end result is! Aphrodisiac! The photographer helped us to realize new fantasies to explore! What a great investment! I had been following I Am Boudior on social media for a while when I was lucky enough to be one of the winners in a raffle to win a free session and $50 towards my products! I was beyond excited! I decided I wanted to do a couples session with my fiance but he refused at first. I showed him some of the photos Shalon and Christina had done and he was very impressed and agreed to do the session with me! Everyone who knows my man knows this is totally out of his comfort zone and something he would NEVER do. The day of our session I was super nervous and not prepared as we had just got back home a couple days before from vacation with our four kids. I hadn't even got to go shopping for the session so I showed up with basically nothing. Shalon assured me that it was fine and they had plenty of things for me to wear. I arrived at my appointment earlier than my fiance because they had me scheduled to get my hair and makeup done before our photo shoot. Before I left my house I told my fiance to just dress nice and bring a few shirts he'd want to wear....he showed up with one. I'm pretty sure we were the least prepared couple they've ever worked with haha By the time he arrived the ladies were finishing up my hair and makeup. We thought it was very nice that they had him show up later so he wasn't sitting there waiting on us. Shalon and Christina made us feel so relaxed, had us laughing and having a great time. They told us/showed us how to pose to highlight the parts of our bodies we like most. They didn't push us to do anything we were uncomfortable with and since we both had seen their previous work and all the different body types they've worked with, we trusted that whatever they were going to have us do would look great. After we finished our couples shoot they had my fiance leave so they could do a shoot with just me so I could surprise him with those photos. I love that they did not rush us or only give us a certain amount of time. That shoot was about us and whatever ideas we wanted to throw out there they were ready to do. I know I walked out of that session feeling more confident and sexy. I feel like doing a couples shoot, having never done anything like this together before, having to gaze into each other's eyes over and over has made us closer and more connected. At times it felt like we were the only ones in the room. I cannot thank Shalon and Christina enough for the experience they gave us. They are truly amazing at what they do. We both absolutely LOVE our photos and I know this is something he would definitely do again as long as we have I Am Boudior do it. I think every woman needs to do this at least once in their life whether it's for their partner or for themselves, you will walk out of there feeling like you've never felt before. I also have this cool mini portrait(s) collage on my bed side table that I can change out 10 different, exotic, sexy, pictures of my beautiful lady whenever I want. This is my second boudoir experience, I had done one once before and enjoyed it but after I met Shalon I knew I needed a re do. The creativity and quality of the shots are second to none! I can't even begin to explain how awesome my album is. I convinced my hubby to come for a few shots(which was no easy task) and at the end even he was more confident than I've ever seen him saying things like "wait that's how my back looks?" And "Well if Shalon and Christina said I looked good I must" If you have any desire to do this just save the funds and do it I'm so glad to have these pics not only for my own confidence but for his and lets be real we wont look like this forever so it will be nice to look back on when we are old and he can't put me on the wall like that anymore. read more

I gifted my husband a photo shoot for our one year wedding anniversary. This was BY FAR his favorite gift. This was an amazing experience and I HIGHLY recommend this fine group of ladies. I was nervous for a total of 2 minutes before their kindness, professionalism and a little bit of laughter made me relax. They allow you to be yourself and choose everything but also offer great opinions and outfits! I felt SO sexy! I originally did this as a wedding gift to give to my husband on our big day but the experience was truly unexpected. I consider myself confident but I didn't feel I was in the best shape to be doing a sexy photo shoot. I did it anyway and I can't say how amazing both ladies are. They made me feel comfortable and they were encouraging and uplifting. They show you how to pose or what to do to get those amazing shots. When I saw the finished photos I was blown away how beautiful and classy they are. Of course the hubby loves them too! It was an empowering experience that I feel women should do even just once just because or even for themselves.
