I didn't understand why you had to walk up the stairs or use the ramp to use the facilities until I got up there. It is an amazing view that definitely could not be appreciated from the ground. The rest rooms were clean and nice. I checked out the vending machines and they had my favorite Yoo Hoo in a glass bottle. Unfortunately didn't have my purse on me. Due to the long walk back up and down I had to pass until next time. Notice the beautiful seashells that are around the manicured ornamental grass. This place is immaculate!

I was here early afternoon and did spend the maximum amount of time, first taking a nap and then spending some time working on my laptop to attend a Zoom call and send some emails. The rest area is large enough for bigger vehicles, there's a full service restroom here with some vending machines and there is of course the tremendous view of the water from here. I had to use the bathroom so badly I was rushing and he started giving attitude at me for not wanting his hat. I came here to pee and if I was I would after using the bathroom. Has 4 stalls (2 handicaps/ 2 regulars) and that's 2 on each side with their own doors. Not a clue on the ladies side but given that there were 4 urinating stations? My guess it has 6ish stalls. There's no paper towels just those machine that dry your hands from super wet to wet. Don't even know why even have em. They're is 24/7 security though. The gentleman did his rounds last night fairly. Smoking area is all over the place, just walk up to the planter looking cement structure n ride the nicotine dependency. I really wished they weren't right up front where kids walk right in front of them. Vending machines have a snack broker that will cut off a finger for you just incase $3 ice cream, $2.50 coffee, $175-2.50 candies and $2.75 soda is to much for you. Guys there's literally infinite amounts of gas stations down the road with better deals than this! Like you can buy a Whole large pizza for $7 at a 7/11!! If a guy stops n buys his 4 kids 2- 3 of each? Don't ya worry old chap! I will take your finger....... The snack broker will cough cough! Lol i'm obviously kidding about the snack broker. The hand dryers don't do a very good job, and even upgrading to a stronger dryer would help. The bathroom floors also seem consistently sticky, even when the rest of the room looks clean. Another downside is that groups sometimes set up in the courtyard, soliciting donations or selling items under the banner of veterans' support. I can't speak to the legitimacy of any particular organization, but it can make the stop feel a little less comfortable.

Convenient and reliable smaller service area. Clean, tables to sit at, bathrooms, and a small market to purchase cold drinks and snacks. There is also a Dunkin, Wendy's, and Zaxbys in here. Shell gas station here to fill up the tank if needed. Gets the job done.

Recently spent over a week at this hotel. Couple things from being a better rating, so will start…read morewith those. While selecting a hotel I need one with an exercise room, which this one has, but was closed the entire time as Best Western's Covid policy. So that left me with no weights/machines for eight days. They need to update their website so this isn't false advertising. Only other minor problems were the safe battery was dead so my stuff was at risk, but no issues with an honest staff. And due to some lower quality of patrons some were loud in the hallways and left trash all over the place (usually cleaned up the next morning). Also didn't understand why they couldn't add an extra day at the price indicated on booking.com so had to go through the motions on my phone. Why not just take care of the customer who had just spent seven days at that same rate? Rooms here are fantastic. Comfortable. Bed quality is great. Clean. Great space in bathroom. Big desk and good Wi-Fi speed Fan setting that allows white noise. Breakfast was basic due to Covid-19 and served by a staff member who asked you what you wanted from sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt, apples, bananas, toast, couple other things. Nice touch, but they had the waffle maker shut down, which didn't make sense since they could have had these going with a fairly empty hotel. Parking lot has plenty of parking, but is laid out so virtually no one can see their car from their room. The service desk was always staffed and always available for questions. Nice personalities too. Would stay here again and hopefully they get their exercise room back open soon.
