The hotel is decent; my first stay in a provincial hotel in France so it's a far cry from the quality one would expect from a Paris class hotel but then again -- this place was very affordable.
Nice room; good size bathroom. The hotel is right in the center of town; you walk outside and you are in the main plaza with all the shops and restaurants.
One surprising note about small town France is that everything goes to sleep after 8pm. There was may be one or two bars open and that's it for the entire city center.
I think Ibis is pretty much all you can do in Lannion as many province-raised French won't stay at a hotel in their lifetime so this is more of a niche market rather than mainstream business necessity in Lannion. Overall I was happy with the hotel and if I ever venture outside of Paris this would be a good choice. read more
