About 2/3 of the rooms face the bay offering fine views, while 1/3 face nothing at all. The rooms are small, but the bathrooms are even smaller. If you're a bigger person (I would estimate 220 pounds or above) I am not sure you will be able to use the shower without moderate inconvenience, or possibly at all.
One annoying thing is the room locks. They are mechanically key based and must be unlocked with the key from the outside and then locked from the key from the inside. When combined with the close composition of the rooms and the thin walls, people coming in late or leaving early will wake you if not with their normal morning sounds than with the loud locking and unlocking of their doors. If this were inconvenient factor was simply upgraded, I would of been tempted to review this hotel at 4 stars instead of three (again, keeping in mind that this is a budget friendly 2 star hotel).
The rooms were kept clean and the staff were pleasant. The beds were comfortable. Don't expect much English speaking from the staff, but that's of course very typical for the area and I did not count it against the hotel for this review. Bottom line: If you need a place to sleep in Paimpol and don't want to break the budget, this place is not a bad choice.
